After checking out several websites "Ripping off" innocent people appears to be the norm for Vacation Promotions. I wish that I would have read the Rip-off Report before they were able to scam me out of nearly $600.00. I believe every word that the ex-employee of Vacation Promo. wrote about how, "All they care about is getting your money and keeping it!" I have never encountered such a corrupt business; from the Receptionist to the Supervisior, Theresa to Mike in Quality Assurance. I was lied to from the very first conversation, to the last! Several weeks before our departure I still hadn't received any conf.#'s, receipt etc. but my credit card had been charged immediatly. The details are too lengthy to discuss at this point. Since I could never get a straight answer from Vaca. Promo., I was forced to cancel my package. That was when I was told that I had to cancel before Jan.5 and by now it was Jan.14th. I was given "the run around", hung up on by three different employees and put on hold indiffenatly. I have never been treated SO unprofessionally. Just as the ex-employee said, "They will try to find a loophole in everything", as they did with me. Because of my cancellation, Theresa left me a phone message ratteling off random absurd charges, such as a $50 neglect fee, a $50 lack of itinerary fee and so on and on. Mike in Quality Assurance, assured me that I was out ALL the money that had been charged to my credit card. Four letters and one month later has gotten me nowhere, which is exactally how they want it! No amount of letters can deal with a company that is based on lies and deceit from the top to the bottom.
