Vacations and Resorts Not only do they SCAM you selling; they get you through their "lawyers" Atlanta, Georgia

I was contacted by Mr Andrew Reid, (877-484-3027 X190) representative of Vacations and Resorts, regarding the sale of our timeshares at The Fountains in Orlando, FL at the end of July 2010.  We were asked to pay $2197.00 for the sale to a qualified buyer which they stated they already had.  The contract papers were received and sent back the same day (8/3/10) by overnight mail.  At that time, I was told they had a sale ID:  #991. 

On 9/10/10, I wrote to them saying I was again faxing a copy of the contract and affidavits which I had sent overnight mail on 8/3/10, because I hadn't been told that I was also supposed to fax them.  At that time, I spoke to "Stephanie, X341/Customer Service", and was upset that no one had told me about faxing those papers which they had had in their possession for over a month. I was given a tentative timeframe of "7-10 days for the title search, 2-3 weeks for the estoppel letters, then the financial papers will be sent". Since 9/10/10, I have tried numerous times (10/4, 10/5, 10/7, 10/18, 10/25) to reach anyone at Vacations and Resorts.  There is a recording directing you to either "your party's extension" or "Customer Service" and no one is in either place.  I have left messages for Andrew Reid and Staephanie countless times and gotten nothing . 

Not only am I being scammed by Vacations and Resorts; they also directed me to a "legal service" to help recover fees I had lost at the other places I'd been scammed at.  A representative (Natalie) collected a fee for legal help which has done the same thing as the timeshare company: nothing.
