Besides painting, most of the other services this company offers are sub-contracted to other companies and the owner Jeff Stokes acts as the person in the middle and marks up the prices on work performed for his own personal profit. When remodeling your home, you can save yourself money by hiring a separate painting contractor, framing contractor, electrical contractor, etc. You may also want to investigate the owner before you choose to do business with him. I strongly encourage you to complete a criminal background check, I did my own research and I wouldn't do business with him again. This business is listed under a residential home at 111 Nelson Farm Rd., Bristol, CT. I don't believe he lives there any longer and no new address has been listed. His business listing ID with The Secretary of The State of Connecticut is 0846479. Please beware and do your research before doing business with this person!

My name is Jeff Stokes, I reside at 560 Winding Ridge in the town of Southington Ct. I have a home office within this residence that I use due to the fact that I am a very small business with a low overhead and cost structure. This filing has recently been brought to my attention through an associate and business reference. Upon reading it I noticed that the complaint came from Fairfield Ct., unfortunately for the mystery plantiff, "Tim R. or is it Tim Sabian", because the name seems to have changed from the original complaint. Either way, I've never once worked in Fairfield, Fairfield County, or any connected location in my history of business. I am located out of the Farmington Valley area and keep my work ioslated to this area and a few surrounding towns. Any sub-contracted work hired through Valley Painting & Custom Construction LLC has been contracted per the clients request and done so at extremely fair market comparison or as a complete courtesy to our clients for their home improvement needs. Furthermore it seems that I've been on the receiving end of an attempted character assasination and company sabotage. With that being said, Thank You for taking the time to read my rebuttal to this erroneous account and feel free to contact me @860-751-9099,with any further questions to this or any other matter, or for a list of True company references/referrals.
