We purchased a couch set over a year ago from Value City that was complete drama wrong couches,tables, waited a month for delivery.Well after all said and done the manager at the Aurora location at least tried to help so in March this year we thought we would give VCF a chance again thinking ok whats the chance of it being bad twice.. HA were we fooled! First off it took almost 3 weeks for delivery after being told 1 week. Second they broke my mirror for my dresser in delivery brought the wrong bed.
Then getting my dressers in my home which they (uncovered) and did not remove drawers did complete damage to my walls a drawer flying out and putting a hugh gash in my wall into the drywall and my dresser. Along with all the other marks on my furniture and walls.Also for them to leave the dresser in my living room after a hour of damage to my walls. you would at least think they would keep furniture covered and protected! At this point I was very upset had guys mark everything they did on the delivery receipt.
As soon as they left we took pictures of everything and immediately called Value City speaking to customer service. For them to tell us a manager will call back (neverhappened). Well after 3 days of us calling them a manager finally picked up and he was very rude. Mind you not one person in that dept knows what customer service is or even about. How they have jobs is beyond me. They must of not gone to the same class to learn as the sales man because he was wonderful. Well the Manager of the dept after having to play phone tag with him finally sent out a repair guy to fix the problem.
Repair guy came out about two weeks later to say wow I cant fix this a insurance adjuster needs to come. Funny the guy comes with no tools no repair guys nothing for the walls. Then looks at my dressers and was like they need to replace them. Not even bothering to use anything to at least try to make them look better. So he leaves and WE call the manager and was like ok what now. Then we get told oh now it has to go threw our insurance company.And can you send more pictures to us. HELLO why didn't your repair guy do thatand what happened to the first set we sent!
Now we are working with the insurance woman over the phone who we had to send another set of pictures too. And also the delivery guys cannot find where they wrote the damages on the form!! And now 2 months later still have not had anyone to come look at our home we call weekly and get no calls back from the insurance company and just get the run around!! Well now also during this two months time you know those couches I purchased well they have where the leather is ripping on by the staple the extra WARRANTY they con you to purchase denied out claim it has takin then a month and a half 4 emails and 3 phone calls for them to finally tell me oh that should of been denied when you called thats a factory warranty that funny has just ran out of time for you!!!
So now I have ripped couches that look like sh*t dressers that are all banged scuffed and look horrible walls that until this is all done look horrible. So I'm so glad I saved all my money to go to Value City to get nice furniture when I could of went to a garage sale down the street and got some furniture and have my husband deliver it and my home would look Alot better and id still have the $9000.00 I spent at Value City in my pocket!! And yes as of today still have not heard back from corporate left them 4 messages, Value City manager left him 2. and the insurance agent left her 2 and a email. wow this company is Horrible do not ever purchase from there unless you want to get screwed over!!!!
