Vector Marketing/ Cutco ripoff, brainwashing Olean New York
*General Comment: Not A Very Effective Response...
*UPDATE EX-employee responds: Pft.
*Consumer Comment: My experience with Vector Marketing
*UPDATE Employee: Cutco is a solid and real business option - not a scam!
There were over 20 other people there. We were seated in a specific order in a room the size of a closet. The director gave us a presentation and asked us to take notes. Later we had to complete a quiz on the history of the company and its practices. What sort of interview was this?
Then, to save time, the President, or someone spoke with groups of two people in private. We found out that we were so lucky to get the job. However, there was extensive unpaid training to attend.
I was weary of this, especially when the man asked me to skip my own high school graduation to attend the training. The methods of brainwashing used on this company nearly convinced me.
My mother researched the company, and she found nothing but negative reports from former employees. This company is associated with the Better Business Beurau, but should not be. They take money from poor college students and do not live up to their promises of $12/hour.
