Search TipsYou wrote a report on Verizon Amplitheater, exactly how did they rip you off? The only thing you mention about them is that you think seats in section 6 are "crappy" and YOU would never have bought seats in that section.
Just on that how exactly is your husband, who has never bought tickets, supposed to know that you think those seats are "crappy"? Especially if he wanted to surprise you for your birthday. I would hate to be your husband and bring home dinner from the local Chinese Resturant as a surprise when you wanted Itallian.
It is not the fault of the Amplitheater or even TicketMaster that your husband didn't know he was buying tickets above face value. Although all he would have had to do was to read the page where he bought the tickets that states the following...
About Your Tickets
Tickets may not ship immediately.
TicketNetwork is an exchange.
Your seats are together unless noted.
Prices may be above or below face value.
Last minute delivery available.
----
I bolded the one important line. It states they may be above or below, your husband should have taken the responsiblity to find out what the face value of the tickets were BEFORE he bought them.

Secondly, you state your husband never buys tickets, and then you go on to say how he was ripped off because he didnt know what he was doing?? How is that being ripped off, nobody made him buy those higher priced tickets. Is he not intellegent enough to realized the price on Ticketmaster and the price he paid was about $100 less? You should be filing a ripoff report on your husband, he is the one that ripped your one-income family off by not informing himself on how the system works.
Also those websites are not "scalpers", they are "ticket brokers". There is a big difference in the two, the main being, scalpers dont register with the state as a legal business. This is no different then you going into Target and buying a dish for $15 when you could have gone to Walmart and got it for $10.
