Clear changes have been made to verizon wireless pricing. BUT the manager tells me they are not adversely affecting me.

Picture and Video Messaging Pricing Change Effective 05/03/09, when you send a picture or video message to multiple recipients, you will be charged once for each recipient. If you already have a messaging bundle, these messages will apply towards your bundle quota. If you are on a Pay-as-You go plan or exceed your bundle quota, you will be charged $.25 per recipient.

In my current plan this doesn't effect me, but what if i change my plan, they are forcing me to stay with an unlimited plan to avoid increases in pricing they are stating which is adversely affecting me. They simply get on the phone with the customer and say no im sorry your wrong, they are judge and jurry which is extremely unfair. What happened to the customers always right.

Verizon Wireless is a terrible company. ALLL ETFS are illegal.

Quote out of context

AUTHOR: Bikebryan - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, June 26, 2009

Gee you found a quote I made in a post. Guess what - that was a quote I took from the VZW website that stated "We stand behind.....". It was directly from the VZW website. It did not say ---I--- was part of that we. I have never said I worked for them and all your quotes you produce saying I do are all taken out of context.

Do you care to continue this? I will just continue to make you look stupid.

Pathetic

AUTHOR: Bikebryan - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, June 25, 2009

Perhaps a mistype in my part? NO, that can't be it because you are never wrong.

You know what? If I"m wrong I'll admit it. I'm just not wrong in the situations where I post. But people don't like to hear that.

I do not represent VZW interest in any way on this forum. I just post the truth and frankly don't have to be nice about it. This is an open forum and we can feel free to be blunt. I am blunt. I don't pull punches. If you are wrong here, I can tell you point blank you are WRONG and not sugar coat it.

Get it? Probably not.

Consultant!!!

What exactly do you consult them on? Berating customers, treating people badly, or just poor customer service. I remember your definition of CS. Pathetic.

You did in report #441865 and I'm sure others if I research more.

You said to the defense of VZW "We stand behind our service."

Caught red handed. I wonder if deceit is taught in Verizon Wireless school? We know it's practiced.

Jumping to conclusions

AUTHOR: Bikebryan - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, June 20, 2009

Who ever said I worked for VZW? I never did. Never once. I do have knowledge of the Cell Industry, different company processes and procedures and Systems. That in no way implies that I work for VZW or any other Cell Provider. For all you know I am merely a Consultant for Cellular companies.

My statements do not represent the interests or beliefs of this or any other Cell company. I will neither affirm or deny that I do or do not work for any of them. I merely state the truth and a lot of people don't like the truth because it contradicts what they think is the truth but what they think is WRONG.

Don't jump to conclusions.

So you believe in the theory that if you take a cookie and its stuck to 7 other cookies then it counts as one.

And I loved your little stab at ETF's at the end...Verizon Wireless is one of the only companies that actually offers a variable ETF where it decreases every month. Go read horror stories about other companies not crediting a $200 ETF when a customer cancels 1 week before their contract end date.

Yes, they are the judge and the jury when it comes to how they charge you for cellular services. They are after all, your cellular provider.

Thanks ;)

Terms and conditions - and YOU AGREED to them

AUTHOR: Bikebryan - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 02, 2009

When you started your account you agreed to follow the terms and conditions of the Verizon Wireless service. This includes changes to their fee structure and other parts of the service. Now you have clearly admitted they do not adversely effect you, and as you are aware of the changes you can't make a change then claim "I didn't know" when you get the overages as you clearly do.

Verizon Wireless is HUGE into documentation. Buried somewhere is the signed (either in person or via what is called an Electronic Signature Capture system) agreement where you agreed to abide by their Terms and Conditions. This includes the ETF which is valid and certainly not illegal. It's merely a mechanism to capture lost revenue should you cancel early. Remember that when you pay less than full retail for your phone the carrier loses money and the ETF is the method they use to recover those losses should you decide to bolt early.

They are not the "judge and jury." If you want to take your complaint to court you certainly can. Many have; a vastly large majority lose and the court costs are much more expensive than the ETF.
