Not sure

I am not sure what you mean by "verify" in this case? If it is an identity thief case, I doubt you should file against them as a rip off. Credit card usage monitoring may be offered by the credit card company, but it is not a guarantee. Anyway, you did not provide the information about what, where, how it happened... It is difficult to understand without wrong assumptions...

Theft made purchases at several places

No company is going to "verify" a credit card past the authorization of the company that they use to process a credit card. This generally includes matching one or more of the following, the Credit Card Number, Expiration Date, Billing Zip Code, Security Code(the 3-4 digit number on the card, more like your PIN number for the Debit purchases). If the person using your card can match all of the verification the charge will be approved.
I am now in the process of reporting the theft to many different companies, including 3 credit report companies, banks, credit cards, and other accounts
- Not sure why you are reporting it to the 3 credit bureaus, unless there is more to this. But you are doing the right thing by contacting your bank to report the fraud on the credit card.
