Verizon Wireless Mobile hotspot ripoff Spokane Valley, Washington

Verizon Ripoff!  Beware that when you upgrade your phone they will try to give you a devise for "Free!" that serves as a mobile hotspot.  It's not free!  They assign a new number to it and then begin billing your account for the new number.  They then want $175 to remove it from your account.  I got my new phone on June 28th.  I didn't know until July 15th billling what they had done.  Their customer service said after numerous conversations with the "supervisor" that more than 14 days had passed so I couldn't return it.  In the meantime the devise, which was charged when I got it, was left in my car and was accessible to anyone logging into it which they did.  192 megs of service were recorded.  This scheme was by design.  Verizon is dishonest at best and a rip off to put it kindly.
