POSTED: Monday, November 26, 2012Also, having worked with VZW in the past, I know that there is basically no way they will get rid of the upgrade fees. Believe me, I've tried. If you called Verizon Wireless Corporate, they will have a record of the call in their systems, since as soon as someone pulls up their account, it automatically timestamps your account with that person's name.
If you have a local VZW corporate store nearby, go in and they can pull up your account to check. But to me, it sounds like you did not speak to Verizon Corporate, but somewhere else.
