i have live here in apt 171 for two years. i paid my rent on time. when the market went down i found me a home to buy a month early before my lease was up. they charged me the full move out price. i paid aprox.$2300.00 they also kept my deposit because they said the carpet had to be replaced and their were only normal wear and tear to the carpet. the carpet was in the home in 2005 and someone lived their before us. the carpet had no red, purple stains. just needed a good shampoo thats what the guy who walked thru the final inspection said. they would not let me se the new carpet they so called replaced with new. they said that the carpet cost 1200.00 to replace. what kind of carpet is it because the apartmant was not that big.
the elevator stayed broke. my car got broken into. floors were nasty. no rent control. if i had know that i was not gonna get at let 250.00 of my deposit then i would have not paid my 2300.00 to move out.
