Excede Satellite Internet Service by Viasat offers a $49.99 installation. The premise is that once you pay that and the technician completes the installation, you are then charged $58.95 for 1GB of service per month on a two-year contract. I was told the payments must be automatic debits to a credit card or bank account and gave them all the necessary information. I was also told that my first payment of $58.95 would be debited from my account within 3-5 business days of the technician installing the service. Without my having barely using the service other than to test it, the initial charge was debited. However, instead of $58.95 there were two charges totaling $797.42. I've been on the phone for several extended conversations with their call center in Colorado. They avow that the charges were in error and that I'm getting a refund, (trouble ticket 10758771), that I will get a credit for two months of service given troubles stemming from a missed installation appointment (ticket 10758674), but they've yet to deliver after two weeks. There were other problems. I've created a Website detailing history and all associated problems with the installer at www.wildbluenot.com.
