Please beaware of purchasing a home package from Viceroy and especially if you use their agent from Alberta - Jaywest Country Homes.
I really wished I would have walked away from my deposit on a home package. The service that I have received or lack of service has cost me thousands of dollars.
If you do sign a contract make sure you read it over carefully everytime Viceroy or the sales agent makes a change. They move items all around and with names changes to certain item it makes it impossible to know what is included and what has been dropped.
Speaking of what is included. Make sure you check that items to finish off your house is included. I found that a lot of building material needed to finish off house was not in package. For instance they get you deck material but no posts to support the deck.
They will charge you for a truss designed roof but not send the documents. I have noticed that once they have your money then you are put on the back burner and they move on to selling their pruduct to another person.
