Do Not buy from the Video Computer Store. You know those fast talking liars from that informercial. First of all I ordered a computer from them ( March 2000,) big mistake. Although they promised a two to four week delivery, it actually took three months! They charged my credit card the entire amount $2090. immediately. I called them on this and the customer service rep said to "take it up with the accounting dept, I can't do anything for you, and hung up on me. I called my credit card company and they removed the charge from my account. Finally, three months after I ordered, (May 2000) I received my computer. Since I am not a first time computer user, I could tell that it was not of the highest quality, but the Printer, Scanner and Monitor were nice so I decided to keep it. Second mistake. I notified my credit card company immediately and they put the charge back on the card. Unfortunately for me I paid it in full. Soon after that my computer froze. Pressing Control,Alt, delete did nothing. Even a hot reboot did not cure the problem. The thing just remains frozen!!! I can shut the power off on the surge protector and unplug it and when I turn it back on it doesn't even reboot it just remains frozen on the same screen. I called the "tech support" numerous times and they are supposed to be sending me a Return Merchandise Authorization so that I can send it back to be repaired but each time I call, they have no record of any previous call. Forget about their "in home warranty" it does not exist.
I have gotten to the point where I do not want to deal with these people anymore and I am going to file a complaint with PA Attorney General Mike Fisher.
