I did lose the court case

AUTHOR: xoxo - ()

POSTED: Friday, February 07, 2014

Today I did lose the small CLAIMS against Video but I am happy with the judge.  I lost the case on the fact that the contract I signed was a all or nothing deal.  I did leave the contract before I should have and I knew that at the time that I left.  Mike tired to fling mud in my eyes but the judge was not impressed with Mike.  If Mike does court cases like that - he is not a very good lawyer.  He tried to claim that I stole equipment-  I have never stole anyting in my life.  When I left Video, I ws escorted and frisked so how could I have stolen anything.  He also tried to claim a lot of things but the judge asked for proof and Mile was short on that end.  Mike is a  liar and do not be impressed by his school or his legal abilitiies - that has a lot to be desired.  I lost because of that fact that I left the contract ealry.  I should have done nothing for a month and got paid.

Brian

This is finally over and I nevre need to deal with Mike

This is my final thought on this.

check your facts Mike

AUTHOR: xoxo - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, February 05, 2014

I did file a complaint with the California Fair standard board,  but I withdrew the case so that I could get a small claims judge to rule  in the case.  Please check your facts Mike before writing.   I am upset because Darren Millar told me in an email that I would get paid then a day later you told him that I would mot get paid.   I was an employee and subject to the laws as an employee.  Darren Millar screwed up the contract and made me an employee and now you must live with it.   Mike aslo called me a drug addict.  Please give me a break. I have never taken any drugs and Mike or any other employee there should know that fact.  Darren also threatened my life in a text that frightened the h*** out of me.

DO NOT ENROLL AT VIDEO SYMPHONY- MIKE FLANAGAN IS A LIAR

AUTHOR: xoxo - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, February 05, 2014

Two days ago I received an email from Mike Flanagan indicated that I was under the influence of drugs and this is an accuation that I think he should be disbarred  from the legal practice for.   It is shameful that Mr. Flanagan need to sling mud and take me that I was on drugs for 2 years while working there.  I guess, guilty people will say anything to help their cause.  I was nver on drugs.   I worked at this company and worked between 70 or 80 per week for 2 years.

I WAS AN EMPLOYEE- MIKE IS A LAWYER and should read the contract his ex  GENERAL MANAGER DARREN MILLAR signed and gave to me.   If taxes are taken out of one's pay check, you are an employee.  READ THE DEFINATION.  ALSO 401 K PAYMNENTS WERE BEING TAKEN OUT MY THE PAYCHECK.  EMPLOYEE AGAIN.

THE CONTRACT THAT VIDEO SYMPHONY SENT ME STATES ON IT- EMPLOYEE OF VIDEO SYMPHONY.   MIKE FLANAGAN NEEDS TO READ THE CONTRACT HE APPROVES.   THE JUDGE ON FEBRUARY 7TH, 2014 WILL DETERMINE THIS CASE AND MAKE A FINAL RULING.  READ THE REVIEWS OF VIDEO SYMPHONY - ALL OF THEM AND YOU BE THE JUDGE OF THE QUALITY OF THE PLACE.

ANYONE WHO WANTS TO ENROLL OR THINKING ABOUT VIDEO CALL ME (((redacted))) DAY OR NIGHT STAY AWAY FROM VIDEO SYMPHONY!!!

Michael Flanagan of Video Symphony Entertraining Doesn't Pay His Employees and Violates Labor Code Left and Right, Also Commits Fraud against government with Student Loans

AUTHOR: Brandon - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, February 05, 2014

I have worked at this school for a while and worked under Mike Flanagan.  It is a fact that he routinely refuses to pay employees their rightfully earned wages.  He constantly has an excuse as to why he will not or can't pay his employees what he owes them.  This situation sounds exactly the same.

Also, I heard that there was a very serious investigation by the feds into the corrupt scheme Flanagan, along with his friend Darren Millar, cooked up to defraud students and the government about student loans.  It's just a travesty what that Flanagan does, just ignoring any type of law and doing whatever he wants to enrich himself with no conscience at all.  It's a shame.

How would the general public feel?

You turn in a timesheet on April 18,2013 and you are told on May 9, 2013 that you may or may not get a paycheck as an employee.  VS may rebut  the fact that I was an employee which the contract clearly states and defines.

The fact that I contacted a third party to resolve the matter, is in material to rip off.com and making the viewer aware of the situation.

WRONG MIKE

AUTHOR: xoxo - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, May 15, 2013

I AM AN EMPLOYEE, MY CONTRACT STATES THAT MONIES LIKE SOCIAL SECURITY AND OTHER PAYROLL TAXES AND 401 k contributions will be taken out.   I call ADP and they state that only eligible EMPLOYEES make participant in the 401 K.

ANY ONE can call me at (((ROR redacted))) and look at the contract.

I am not pissed off at Video Symphony merely stating the facts.  I could care less, one way or another at Video Symphony.

I just want the public to be aware of Video Symphony, buyer and student beware.

POSTED: Wednesday, May 15, 2013

Brian Chamberlain worked over 40 hours a week- no vacation and had to endure the verbal abuse of Emil Lau.

He worked on Christmas.

Pressure was unbelievable.

I worked by myself, had to work with 500 students and other staff members,

The financial aid staff was one person.

The admissions office and others made a tremdous amount of mistakes that the financial aid manager had to correct, like

Dan Murphy, the admissions director telling VA students that they would get their Federal Pell grant monies back when that was not true.  The financial aid manager had to deal with 30 screaming, pissed off students that wanted their monies.

Dan also puts in fake people in his admissions reports to bolster his paycheck and no one cares.

The finance department not ever wanting to send out student statements- ever.

Emil does not know financial aid and will never will.

The school needs to let the  financial aid do its jobs.

He had to deal with FAKE PRIVALE STUDENT LOANS -NO ONE CARED ABOUT

OTHER STAFF MEMBERS THAT ARE UNWILLING TO DO THEIR JOBS- THE ONLY REASON THEY ARE IN THEIR POSITIONS IS BECAUSE THEY ARE FRIENDS WITH MIKE FLANAGAN OR DARREN MILLAR

Brian Chamberlain

In April 2013, I received over 3o phone call and texts per day and no getting paid for my time, criminal at best.

Because of not getting paid, I can not get unemployment

#1 UPDATE Employee ..inside information

Incorrect Submission

AUTHOR: Mike Flanagan - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, May 15, 2013

The individual who presumably wrote the complaint is not an employee. He was an employee and was paid in full at the time of his employment termination. Were he an employee and he felt he wasn't paid properly, he could easily file and win a claim with the California Labor Commissioner. He won't do so because he knows he was paid properly, as all employees of the company are. The company goes to great effort and expense to comply with labor laws.

His complaint stems from a misunderstanding about when he would get paid for independent contractor work he did for the company. The payment was clearly tied to the successful outcome of a project. That project has not been completed due almost solely to the actions of the complainer. So what he really is complaining about is the timing of when he will get paid, and the source of his discontent is with himself, not the company.
