Possible fraud by virgin mobile. This is my second report on virgin mobile broadband2go. I thought the problem was getting solved, but just found out that is not true. Last month bought 2gigs (2048 megs) internet service from them. Well my megs got drained, but they compensated me with cash after I kept complaining. But that was not the end. I noticed later that my used megs and my remaining megs did not add up to 2048 megs as purchased. It only added up to 1947 megs. I complained and they kept saying they would fix it. I thought it was prolly just a glitch, but they took forever to respond. Anyway I was not compensated for the 100 meg discrepancy, only for the lost megs that were initially drained from my account. However they seemed to be trying to fix it.
Now, I bought more megs because I ran short (because they drained off my megs and deleted another 100 megs). I bought their $35 for 2gigs plan which is 2048 megs. At first it said 2048 megs, but when I refreshed it said only 1948 megs. They ripped me off right from the start. And they still have not resolved the 100 missing megs from last month. I am beginning to think this is no glitch at all but intentional.
If you have broadband2go check the USED MB and the REMAINING MB. Those should add up to what you originally bought, not less. It is something many people might not even notice...but check it out. If you do not have broadband2go, don't get it. Something very funny is going on with them. As soon as I can afford a device from another provider I am going to be out of there. But meantime, I have to fight it out because this is the only internet I have right now. Changing means buying another device from someone else.
