While I attended this school I entcountered numerous bullying from the staff/professors when I would email them or ask them a question. I would always get a response that is essence was , how dare you, or you don't use those terms , " ridiculous." This from primarily the online Cj head lady, and oncampus head of CJ.
I did drop out a couple times from the school whcih did effect my SAP, but I took a break due to medical problems, and did inform both online and campus heads of what was going on. The school withdrew me .
I looked at both the 2006-2007 catalog and found the leave of absence clause and saw that is was in effect, but was told it wasn't by both the president of the college and the vp. They evedentally took the clause out w/o informing the student body as this school has always done in the past. Anything to cover their back ends. I call this fraud.
When I attempted to re-enter I encountered bullying from the online CJ head lady, and was told I had withdrawn again, since the "school took away that clause." I was floored. The school is so deceptive that they have to lie on their school cataloge, when some policy's may have been stricken.
I have also had Terrible trouble financial aid, and their lack of organization from the time I entered until when I left. I signed a "forgiveness loan" and that took forever to straighten out (which it never did,) and now the school says I owe well over a thousand dollars. I call this either fraud or deception but especially bad business ethics.
My mother has seen and heard everything that can back every bit of this up. I am just tired of this college getting away with this crap.

If I still had Internet access at home for my computers, I would have read all these comments and not wasted my time. I am in Texas for now and wish the hell I had never heard of these people.
I noticed that the people I met here were mainly 30-20 years younger than me and looked at me like I was garbage. You are right about the arrogance and the bullying but I have been an armed private security officer and bodyguard for 20 years so they did not intimidate me at all. It was just the way the financial aid persons would not look me in the eyes, tell me how much it cost per semester to attend and EVERY CENT I would have managed to get would have gone ALL TO THEM -- kind of like a pimp taking a street h*o's earnings.
Or playing Texas Hold 'em with a MARKED DECK IN THEIR FAVOR.
Old dreams die hard. all of your life you are brainwashed into thinking that if you get this education you will make a great living. that is BS. I have friends with BACHELOR'S DEGREES --supposed to be making $50,000 a year with that and they were working armed, high-risk security mercenary work with me SAME AS ME AND ALL I HAVE IS A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA! So where is all that SUCCESS and BIG MONEY that you are supposed to get with this WONDERFUL BACHELOR'S degree.
with this insane BOOM -BUST economy, it is like running across a mine field and obstacle course to hold even the most humble kind of job.
VIRGINIA COLLEGE WAS ALL ABOUT HOW MUCH FINANCIAL AID THEY COULD GET OUT OF ME AND THEY DID NOT CARE HOW THEY GOT IT. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN MY a*s ON THE LINE TO REPAY THOSE LOANS THAT THEY WOULD HAVE HAD ME LIE TO GET --AT LEAST AS I INTERPRETED WHAT THEY WERE TELLING ME!
I DIDN'T GET TO MAKE UP TWO OF MY CLASSES I MISSED BECAUSE I GOT THE SWINE H1N1 FLU IN 2009 AT MY TWO-YEAR SCHOOL AND IT COST ME. SO I THIN K THAT THE HEALTH PROBLEMS ARE NOT EXCUSED ANYWHERE AND THEY SHOULD BE BECAUSE IT APPEARS TO BE A VIOLATION OF THE REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION CLAUSE OF THE AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT.
MAYBE IF YOU HAVE A FAMILY MEMBER WHO CAN TEACH YOU WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TO MAKE A LIVING, YOU MIGHT BE BETTER OFF LEARNING FROM THEM BECAUSE VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS THAT I HAVE SEEN HERE IN TEXAS ARE A DAMNED RIP-OFF --AT LEAST THE ONES I HAVE SEEN SO FAR.

I myself have had a awful experince with Virgina College
Columbia,SC campus!!! They do not have your best intrest at heart. BEWARE !!!!!
