Virginia College VC.edu; Education Corporation of America; ECA disorganized and substandard education Tulsa, Oklahoma

When I first enrolled in Virginia College for their network engineering degree program, I had no idea that I would end up being withdrawn from the college due to lies and the ignorance of not only the teacher bu the President, Heidi Wind and her staff. First, let me start off by saying that Virginia College has no clue as to what they are doing but with financial aid and trying to help the students with questions that they might have to succeed in their education.  I have been to both Tulsa Community College and Northeastern State University and the level of professionalism far exceeds that of Virginia College. The school had mad promises that I did not have to take certain classes except for their Fundamentals of Professionalism then they tell me that I have to take keyboarding and other general course when I already took those courses at TCC. Then when ask my ad visor questions pertaining to my course of study, she did not have a straight answer, which i believe is not her fault, more so on the fault of the administration. They never had a straight answer for anything especially when it came to financial aid, I kept on getting the run around and finally I just stop asking because i knew what was going to happen.

I have witnessed on numerous occasions where the campus president, Heidi Wind, would walk around the halls and instead of checking up on the students and seeing if there was anything she could do to help with their education needs, was more interested in flirting with male staff members and trying to make a name for herself. I was unfairly blamed for an incident that was blown out of proportion and because no one asked my side of the story i was kicked and was demeaned in front of the program director and the "dean" of students.  The english teacher, who doubled over the librarian was more interesting in talking about her comic books and video games than she was teaching the class. I believe that Virginia is a poor example of higher learning education in the state of Oklahoma and that the president was  more interested in other things than running a school. I do not recommend this college to anyone. You are better off going to Tulsa Tech or a major four year university

The remarks made on the report are very accurate. Once again the new President Heidi Wind of the Tulsa campus has fired another Program Director whom was a very vital part of the Tulsa Campus. The Program Director cared about the students and the students have begun to learn of the the PD being fired and are in the process of deciding not to return to school in January. One of the PD has told students that the PD resigned which is fiction. The PD would not quit in fact she was fired 4 days before Christmas. This PD had two masters degrees and did not have any complaints about her level of work.

In fact she had the most students in her program within the school, unlike one program only has 5 students. This school has charged us more money and will continue to increase their rates and continuing firing staff members until the President has the staff members of her liking. The President was fired from her previous school due to this type of behavior and now she has come to Tulsa and ruined a school and made students not want to return. I guess when WE all drop out someone will remove this evil spirit that has been casted into that school.

I hope the PD gets a new works for another school and let me know so I can attend that school and I will have 7 others that attend VC join me. I hope this school closes if they continue to allow the President be over the school. I am contacting the NAACP on this school as well due to racial remarks that have made by two  of the PD's and the President didn't even do anything about it. I am no longer going to attend this school I am enrolling in Tulsa Technology and even though the PD that was fired told me to stick with VC I refuse she was the only one encouraging me to go to VC so I rather go where I know I will be treated better and not to mention the price will be cheapier.
