Search TipsThere interest rate is about 30%. If you charged 150 you will be paying 30 cents on each dollar in interest. That's 45 dollars per month in interest. If you were making the minimum payments it is easy to see how the balance jumped. As soon as you passed the 300 credit limit you were then hit with over the limit fees (which I believe are 29). It is a never ending cycle.
Close the account. Try and work out a settlement with Aspire and pay them off. There are other cards out there that will help establish your credit that won't charge you 30% interst. Hope this helps.
