I purchased this system in June 2006. Because my old system was still running well and because I confided that all the required pieces would be packed, I did not open the boxes until 8 months down the road. I have had this V2 premier system running for 2 months now and it pure horror. I am not that savy with computers but I do know enough to see there are problems. First of all the $70 rebate I could not receive because the parcel arrived late. So I let that go. As the days went by and I continued to browse the new system, I notice that certain things were not working the way they should. The radio portion was not workiing. I called Customer Service and was told about an atena that should have been packed. I told them that it wasn't and told me they couldn't do anything because the 30 days have expired. I accepted. Then as time went by I called regarding the TV portion of this computer (which is what lure me to buy this computer) found out I need another cable. I continued to discover that I did not received alot of instruction. The system was telling me I needed to update Microsoft. I as continued with the update and the end it was asking to insert the CD. I took through the CD's I had received. Maybe I missed it. I called Cust. Service/Tech support only to find out the I did not have the CD the system was asking for. Their response was that they could not do anything because 30 days had gone by. I would need to purchase the program on my own. ($100)
Now I found that I do not have a CD/DVD burner program. It was not installed nor do I have the CD. Again I was told that nothing could be done because my 30 days were expired. I would have to purchase a program for that as well. There response was "How do we know that you received, made a copy, sold it, and now you are stating that you did not receive it" I was apaulded. Now they are calling me a liar and its their words against mine. So, missing programs, no microsoft & other cd's missing, atena missing, constant messages stating I have low memory to open certain programs. Their cust service both from Shop NBC & Viscom Technology are horrible.
