Vitamins of Vitality operates a Website that from all appearances looks like a Scam. The Website address is : www.vitaminsofvitality.com
I had never heard of this company and have never purchased vitamins or any other health products online.
On July 16, 2014 a charge appeared on my Bank Account in the amount of $49.95, which I did not recognize.I waited a day until the transaction had actually posted to learn that it came from a company called Vitamins of Vitality, showing Lakeland, Florida as where the charge originated.
I immediately did an Internet search on this company and found several Websites similar to Ripoff Report that Consumers had posted on, stating that their Bank Accounts or Credit Cards had also been charged $49.95. When some of these Consumers had contacted the company, they were told their order had shipped ten days prior, but yet, there was no tracking number provided. The company would not allow refunds, or rudely told the Consumer that they must have forgotten that they had placed the order or that someone else in the household had placed an order.
I conducted some more research to try and find out who owns the registered domain name. All of the registration information is "private," although it appears that the Website name was only just registered in April, 2014, and appears to be registered in Panama, which would make legal action somewhat more difficult.
This company has SCAM writtten all over it. I would highly suggest any other Consumers that have similar charges appearing from this Company, contact their Bank or Credit Card company immediately, and have their cards cancelled so that no more charges will appear. From what I understand, the charges can be recurring monthly if the first was successful.
I will be conducting more research too see what I can find out about who is behind this SCAM and how they may be obtaining people's Bank Card or Credit Card information.
