Frustrated with Vivint because they will not allow me to cancel their services. According to Vivint when I called in Sept 2012 to cancel they stated, "I had to cancel by August 2012." Since I did not cancel by August 2012 they are continuing to bill me for another 12 months. Every person I spoke to at their support center had no sympathy and was only worried about me paying for another 12 months. Even spoke to a manager, so she says, and still got no where with cancelling this service. Even explained my original agreement was not with them, but with Apex and after 4 years of loyalty and payments you want to be unreasonable. I am in between jobs and caring for an elderly parent and trying to cut back, but Vivint does not care about any of that, they only care about getting your money. I expressed to them, if I was behind on paying you the service would be cutoff, so what is the big deal about cancelling at any time. I am getting monthly statements showing my missed payments and eventually they will cut the service off and they will report to the credit bureaus probably. Vivint, Is it really worth getting all these consumer complaints!!!! I would never recommend their services to no one.

 So because YOU signed a contract, THEY are the bad guys for not allowing YOU to break it? HOW does that work exactly?? YOU agreed to it and read and signed the contract. All THEY are doing is holding YOU to the terms of the agreement that YOU wanted. Grow up and accept the responsibility of the situation. YOU have NOT been ripped off. YOU are trying to screw THEM out of the money YOU rightfully owe. We all get it, YOU are having financial problems. Big deal. That doesnt give YOU the right to screw THEM. It also doesnt give YOU the right to go on the web and bash them for YOUR problem. YOU signed the contract, YOU are the one who is trying to WELCH OUT on what YOU agreed to. Since YOU fully read and signed the contract THEIR hands are tied.
