Vollara is NOT a reputable company. I bought a Fresh Air unit in May of 2008. I had some problems with it and called into their customer service center located in Bristol Virginia. I was told that because I had purchased my unit before March of 2009, the company would not be able to honor EcoQuest's old warranties! And if I wanted my unit repaired I would have to pay for it! When I purchased it, I was told I had a 3 year warranty!

First of all, we all know Vollara IS EcoQuest and EcoQuest IS Vollara. They started getting a crappy reputation and changed the name. The only people who are making money are the same crooked dealers who were with EcoQuest.

Beware people---this company is going under. They are now DESPERATELY trying to push water units that do not work. I work with a lady who purchased a C-7 unit and paid over $3000.00 for it and it has not worked for one day! After waiting on a replacement part for over 2 months now, it is still leaking AND she finds out that they now have a NEW and IMPROVED water unit.

If they manage to remain open for the next couple of years, they will change the name AGAIN and will not be honoring all your 3 and 5 year warranties.

Crappy units. Dishonest company. Crooked dealers. Money-hungry owners.

Please do not fall for it. It looks all nice and safe, but you WILL get screwed out of your money!!!!

Wow - you are misinformed

Sorry I didn't catch this sooner because I would've liked the chance to rebut this immediately.

Vollara is NOT Ecoquest and Ecoquest is NOT Vollara. Vollara's parent company acquired assets from Ecoquest during Ecoquest's bankruptcy. This is not the same company or management.

You obviously had a bad experience and did not communicate with the proper people to have the situation resolved. Posting an anonymous message that has little to no credibility on a third party entertainment website is not the way to get the problem resolved.

The company you purchased your FreshAir unit from in 2008 doesn't exist anymore. They went bankrupt. That is the bottom line. We understand that you were told that there was a 3-year warranty, but the company went bankrupt and closed. The new owners (who are about as far from "money-hungry" as you can get) have made some amazing considerations for the former Ecoquest dealers to help them bring life back to their business. The owners of Vollara should get a Nobel prize for all of the out-of-pocket efforts they made to help thousands of people stay in business after their company went bankrupt.

You are barking up the wrong tree with this complaint.
