VONAGE - Vonage.com ripoff customer service not worth anything termination fee Avalon Pennsylvania
4/25 1st i emailed vonage through the site to cancel service because the service isnt great. i had small problems with devices and service interuptions not because of my cable internet. i had unlimited phone and fax spending 41.00 a month. 2nd time called with a wait time of over 30 minutes i had to hang up because i am a fireman and had a call to go to. few more calls later nothing waits were over 1/2 hour.
4/29 i changed my cc info on the site so they didnt charge my account. thoughout may i called and emailed. 5/23 finally got through to a lady. i told her not so great service and wanted to cancel and that i called and emailed a month ago. she got my info and said you dont use it that much why dont we go cheaper 25 monthly. i still said no cancel it. after 15 minutes of debating. she said well i need your cc # so we can take care of your balance i said what balance. they wanted the 1 month (june) for 41.00 and 40 more to cancel service. i asked how can i owe money on a prepaid service. she said its your balance. immediatly i said no to giving her my cc #. she told me she cant cancel service until balance is paid. this is unacceptable i told her. after about 5 more minutes of talking she said an email will be sent and billing dept will get a hold of me. so i got a balance of $81 due in the email that was sent.
