It would appear the dishonesty of this individual and the company for whom he is President has spred across the Atlantic.
My experiences are similar to those many already documented.Please let mine,and everyone elses serve as a stark reminder not to engage in any form of contract with Castle Resorts International!
I was contacted by an employee of CRI ( Angelique ), who persuaded me they could rent out my timeshare on Westgate Lakes for a favourable weekly sum.
The contract involved me agreeing to pay an initial fee to facilitate the property being advertised etc.Under the contract I was entitled to a 100% refund of my fee if I did not receive a " viable offer of rent" within 180 days.
As many have discovered no such offer was forthcoming - despite me making numerous phone calls to try to establish the current state of play.All I was ever told was that no offers were on the table,but that the unit was to be showcased that week and they were confident it would go for rent.
At the 180 day point I contacted CRI and explained to a very ignorant person called Rebecca that I wanted a full 100% refund of my fee.She explained that only WALTER FOWLER could authorise a refund.
I obtained his extension and left numerous messages - no joy.Till he did actually call me in England.He said I should put my case for a refund in writing,and he would authorise it.Guess what - no reply whatsoever.
I have since tried to ring this Walter Fowler and all you get is an automated message saying he is on the phone.I guess I have very little chance of getting my money back,but he has " ripped off " the wrong person this time.
I have just booked my flight to Sandford and I am going to the CRI offices.I will have my retribution on this criminal,and he is going to rue the day he took my money with "false"promises.
In case he reads this report this is just for you Walter - " I AM COMING FOR YOU.YOU WONT KNOW WHEN,OR WHERE BUT WATCH YOUR BACK."
I would strongly advise anyone who gets a call from this company to do only one thing - HANG UP!
