WEBstaurant store Ripoff to the Ninth Power Internet LA
Catch 22 is alive and well and is being played out daily at WEBstaurantStore.
Their return policy is simple: NO!!!! -- even when the unit is defective.
I purchased a very expensive Robot Coupe food processor which can only process "Hot Nothing"! The food slides up the sides of the unit, staying far away from the blades.
Now, how could I possibly know how completely ineffectual the unit would be prior to opening the box and attempting to use it?
Ah-ha. That's the Catch 22. You see, they refuse to make any kind of reparations once the box is opened and the unit has been 'used'.
So, there goes my $1400 down the toilet. This should not be.
I've been a daily food processor user since the early '70's, since they first arrived from France.
I've been shafted and I know it. Learn from me.
