My wife used Hotels.com to look for a hotel. She may or may not have booked it on their site, we are still looking thru our records. She insists that in no way did she see any requests from this "partner" of Hotels.com for information or any kind of subscription request/notice.

I called the 888# and they were very nice about cancelling and refunding my $7.00.
