1. I did not know about this situation until you came to my home, and I did not have anything to do with your job. I have never been to your home. Your right obviously I did not know there was three contracts, because I had nothing to do with you or your contracts. The only reason I filed a rebuttal on here is because my name is part of this company, you mentioned my name very clearly in your report and obviously no one else was going to file any kind of rebuttal.


2. I assure you WPS Contracting would have refunded your money regardless of any actions you have taken so far. Mark didn't give you $1350.00 because you called channel 2 on him. He gave you $1350.00 because that is the only money he has been able to collect from customers that owe the company money. He would have given you that money regardless. The customer that paid him didn't pay him becasue you called channel 2. That customer could care less who you call or investigate, but that is the only money owed he has been able to collect since your job.


3. I didn't leave the company or even try to because IF I DO I want to make sure everything is taken care of before I do, and a large part of that is your situation. My name was a part of this company when all of this happened and even though I HAD NO KNOWLEDGE of your situation with Mark I will not try and bail out before the company pays you in full. I was and still am very angry with the way Mark handled alot of things which includes the way he handled your situation. At the same time he did not cause this to happen intentionally, he made some mistakes he is not a scam artist.

5. Your blasting of the media has done nothing but slow Mark down from getting your money back to you. He had a job lined up a month ago that when completed he could have payed you in full but because of your media blasting the job was lost. As far as I know that is the only potential job WPS Contracting has had in a long time. The only other way the company can get you your money back is from customers that owe the company money and they dont have it or they are not paying it right now.



6. Laverne I completley understand your anger and I dont blame you. I would be just as angry and frustrated, but what I dont understand about you is that you seem to be enjoying this. i don't get your "scamme humor" with the Leprachaun joke, this is not funny to me. I am taking this very seriously. I want to help get your money back and I want this company rebuild its reputation and sustain it. It's like you are not just trying to get your money back but you are totally bent on revenge. There was no scam here Laverne. There was no conspiracy. Why would people put together a company under their real names and real addresses where their real families live so they could scam people? WPS Contracting is a real company, that has real completed jobs. With real customers that owe the company real money for those completed jobs. The company has no money. Christian and Mark, EVERYTHING I stated in my initial report can be PROVEN in a court of law, however, it's amusing that you mention two contracts when there were actually three, two of which was NEVER STARTED. Yes I received $1350.00, for the third contract but this was ONLY AFTER your "company" was INVESTIGATED and the STORY aired on the news by both Channel 46 and Channel 2. Mark Webster, albeit camera shy, promised to pay in FULL one week later but guess what......I have not heard a peep from him since! WPS Contracting did contract two jobs for this customer. One was the roof replacement which was completed and the other was the siding which was not completed. Yes there was a down payment made for the amount listed above, so far WPS contracting has refunded $1350.00 of this down payment to this customer and is in the process of working to try and refund the full amount. WPS Contracting is a new company that has made some mistakes and ran into some trouble (we trusted customers to pay us for jobs on completion). WPS Contracting has never intentionally tried to "screw" anyone as Laverne says. There is currently in the area of $10,000 owed to WPS contracting from various customers for completed jobs who are either not in the financial position to pay for the work or flat out avoiding phone calls and payment requests. This customer has been in contact with Both Mark Webster and Christian Swift for months and both partners have been trying very hard to work this out with the customer and refund their down payment in full. So the comment made in this post that "Repeated phone calls to both Mark Webster and Christian Swift have yeilded only voicemail and unreturned calls" is not true. As soon as WPS Contracting can collect the money owed for other completed jobs they will be able to refund the rest of the down payment made by this customer Laverne. Another way we would be able to refund Lavernes down payment is to contract new jobs but since she has publicized this situation and labeled us as scam artists (which she knows we are not since we did complete one job for her already and have been in contact with her trying to fix the problem) its very hard for us to get new business.

Serita Beaman is NOT affiliated with this company at all. All she did was file the incorporation papers for the company and giving the name is required by the secretary of state. Serita Beaman runs a reputable business of her own. If someone had bothered to do their homwork before this report was filed they would have known this. Please remove her name from this listing.

I found out by going to several neighbors homes in my subdivision that had work done by this company that they were ripped off too!! Doris Pearman and Genice Morgan have been trying unsucessfully as well to contact Mark Webster whose phone, amazingly, "is not accepting calls at this time".

These people are criminals commiting FRAUD on storm damage victims! There M.O. is to do ONE home very well and completely in a neighborhood and leave their sign in the yard to draw other homeowners in. Mark Wester is very friendly and personable and he's the "president" and front man.....Christian collects your money and deposits it in Colonial Bank in Dallas GA. Then they use bait and switch with numerous stall tactics once they have your money....job price increases, relatives die, accidents happen, dogs run away, people walking on an expressway get hit and die before their eyes, the sun didn't rise on their side of town......etc.etc...) LIARS
