Ripoff Report REVIEW:

WSI, a privately-owned company is legitimately established and is forthcoming about its location, identities of theirsenior management and its franchise opportunity. The company discloses any and all information about their operations to ensure the highest customer/franchise confidence.

Most complainants investigated to date by Ripoff Report appear to be competitors or ex-employees, although 3 of the Ripoff Reports had complete, bona fide contact information. WSI is actively working to resolve those cases. In many cases IP addresses of individuals "claiming" to be from the United States or from various countries internationally, but were actually found to be posted in Toronto, Canada - indicating reports were most likely filed maliciously and falsely under various identities, but were actually from the same group of only a few individuals.

WSI has experienced rapid growth. In the past it experienced some growing pains with respect to customer responsiveness, but has overcome it with additional support capability and improved customer service, systems and processes.

They appear to be a caring company - They work with and for kids around the world showing goodwill and financial support through many charitable organizations.

The company maintains strong reputable business partners, who help them enhance their operations and support; which includes IBM, Oracle and Price Waterhouse Coopers.

They pledge to fully address each and every person who has a bona fide complaint about them utilizing recommendations set forth in the Ripoff Report Corporate Advocacy Business Remediation and Customer Satisfaction Program, which WSI is participating in fully.

WSI REFUSES TO PAY BACK!!!

WSI sounded fine and interesting franchise after all the lengthy phone talks from their people in Canada. That changed after I had seen the Franchise Agreements content, and I decided not to sign. But before I got the Agreement they asked for 25% deposit with my Franchise Application = EURO 9.925 (=US $ 14.770).

Now I know it is illegal, to bind people and collect money, before showing the franchise agreements. WSI people think they can get away with it and refuse to pay my back. Wayne A. Steinberg, General Counsel of WSI told me he can do this to me, since I am not resident of USA and therefore US FTC rules do not help my. ftc.gov/bcp/franchise/netrule.htm I contacted FTC and it is no question that WSI WORLDWIDE INC is a Delaware Company, and has to do business according to U.S. law.

Possibly more people have horrible story to tell, but the papers WSI have people sign may make people afraid to tell it. When I search for WSI on this website I can see how WSI has been treading people that have signed.

I have also been searching on the Internet for information and help by using words like: WSI , wsicorporate , worldsites , franchise , franchiser , franchise , misleading , illegal , enforcement , Spam , trial , court , Judge , Justice , contract , dispute , agreement , sue and more, but few words at a time. By doing this I have come up with valuable information and 30 useful websites that inform people and take complains. Also I have 410 names of people that have signed (including their phone, E-mail, + adders) in USA and other countries.

Yesterday I got the Do-ItYourself Guide from badbusinessbueru.com and it looks extremely useful to me.

There is more to come from my. I am desperate to get help, and my money back + my expenses.

Technology experts.that's a joke.

AUTHOR: J - (U.S.A.)

Technology experts.that's a joke. They don't even understand the difference between an Intranet and an Extranet. This is some of the propaganda they are pushing in their supposed "Amazing Secrets" book, and you can see they clearly don't have the technology to offer true Intranet solutions, so they are trying to pass off their Extranets as Intranets. This is a classic example of the spin they put on things to basically push their second rate products.

"Any example of a password-protected area on an Internet site is an example of an Intranet. These can be used to create communities within

companies and facilitate internal communication such as setting up user-administered human resource departments. They can also be used

to create communities of suppliers, business partners, and customers outside the company.

Some examples include the CBC Newsworld

Internet site, and chat groups for stock investors and other communities

of interest.

The speed of the uptake of email installations from large to small organizations supports the fact that email delivers business benefits and

d e l i ve rs them fast. But the real benefits are gained when the communication is centralized and a database of the core information is

developed by way of an Intranet.

Centralized corporate communication increases organizational learning and prevents the duplication of resources. Across a company with

varying geographic boundaries, centralized communication can significantly increase the adaptability, level of innovation, and ability of

an organization to provide profitable solutions and meet increasing customer demands. The level and degree of collaboration that occurs is

increased, especially over geographically dispersed locations.

D istribution of internal newsl e t t e rs, training manuals, employe e h a n d b o o ks and other policy materials are some of the larg e r

components of corporate administrative expense. What if these could be placed on an Intranet so that any employee could access this

information at their convenience? Imagine the savings in paper, printing, distribution, and update costs-not to mention the convenience of knowing where to find all this information when the need arises.

Organizations that need to develop knowledge bases for company-wide use would benefit significantly from an Intranet. Have you noticed how most of the information stored in your own office is rarely used? If this is the case with most people in the company, then you can imagine how much information is sitting on company shelves. One can easily imagine how useful this information would be if it was available at everyone's fingertips-through an Intranet!

#5 UPDATE EX-employee responds

my experience I think that they are a bunch of overworked overzealous hypocrites

AUTHOR: C - (Canada)

I used to work for the company and frankly I think that they are a bunch of overworked overzealous hypocrites. They fired me because I was not willing to work more than 35 hours a week and I did not subscribe to their cult like positive attitude like they think they are somehow better than other people.

As far as I am concerned - It does not matter that they have been rated #1 - they are too indoctrinated like they are going to be the next Microsoft. Like that is a great thing to want to be Microsoft is just a Capitalist Bully that works there employees to death and they are out to crush every one of their competitors to me it's a pretty shallow goal to want to be like them.

I was a good person before this company destroyed me since they fired me 6 months ago for no good reason, my wife has left me and I will tell the world what a piece of shit company this is until the day I die.

Here is my gift of retaliation I am posting a copy of their Top Secret Project they have been working on developing as a joint project with the Hong Kong Polytechnic Institute

WSI Internet Scam, Beware

AUTHOR: Dwayne - (U.S.A.)

Bill also spoke with me, sounds memorable. He directs you to a few "successful" affiliates; they give you the thumbs up story, all about the same. Nice presentation and brochure. Gives you the I will try to keep you in the old pricing" BS story. Then you send in the franchise fee, pow no more Bill. He vanishes. The "personal Mentor" is on vacation more than at work, messages go unanswered for days, all the while I struggle to stay afloat. Email addresses blocked after you send in a few questions, all I want is a live body on he phone for a few questions, not happening. 39k is a lot for me, not for those guys it appears. This is not what was promised, I want out, before it costs me more

WSI scam

AUTHOR: Rod - (U.S.A.)

WSIWSICORPORATE.COM is just a website to make it look legit.. Address 5915 Airport Road Mississauga Ontario L4V 1T1 One of the major supporter of WSI is www.entrepeneur.com Type 'WSI' into a search engine and almost all you get is articles on WSI published by these guys. This franchise directory is produced by the editors of Entrepreneur Magazine. Makes you wounder how much WSI paid some lowly boiler room typist to publish his crap. My lawyer has done some investigating on this company, looks like the contract has a tiny loop hole, that is how I CAN LET EVERYONE ELSE KNOW THIS BUSIBESS IS FAKE, SCAM, LIAR, bs COMPANY,,,,,LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE FORGOT THE CONFIDENTALITY CLAUSE,,,,HA,,,NICE..

Wsi, a reason to re-reason your plans

AUTHOR: Braxton - (U.S.A.)

Ray and M and anyone else that has a bad experience with Geeks, I agree. I'm no slouch, but came to Geeks for the support system, as everyone that has had the experience of computers all need a support system. I left my last employer on the "promise" of a no way to loose in this business. Jerald, of Geeks recruiting team explained all the ins and outs of the business and services they offer. My most important concern, support, ongoing support. Jerald expresses explicitly, 24/7 availability, which is exactly what I felt comfortable with. As most of the business I planned to target, I would service after-hours and weekends. Well, after attending the instructional seminars, sending in my initial fees, as well as hosting and maintenance fees and several month's of disgust, I am done. The 24/7 support I now understand is , send them an email anytime you want, the might answer the next work day. . I have tried to call over and over, not return calls have been made, nor have the promises been fulfilled. REFUND Jerald.

WSI scam

AUTHOR: Jeremy - (U.S.A.)

Sure I know Bill. Good talker, paints a beautiful picture. He basically told me I would be making 6 figures the first year. He assured me of making $, and assured me that the support was top notch. Told me the company was completely professional. I would want for not.

Well, once my money was in their hands I realized that was not the truth. I put $30K in their hands, then I was told there would be more fees for trainings etc. THEN WHAT WAS THE $30k FOR???? I was totally taken and not at all happy about losing all the money the bank lent me.

Bill does not call you back once he is done with you. Blocks my email address and never returns calls. Guess she got his money, and that was enough.

Sadly they do this to people daily. Need to stop them. Might take trip there to put someone through a fence.

Have to talk to my lawyer first.
