I have had a similar expirience to the two other reports on this site.I had wanted to buy an H20 5x steam mop, so I googled suppliers and decided to buy through a site called Web shopping Network ( very similar to HSN Home shopping Network) I tried to pay at the checkout three times but only half the page appeared and I thought it was my computer, each time it happened I rang the customer services number on the site, the man just said try again, on the third attempt he told me it was probably due to their having increased their online security and had been having problems with The Halifax, and suggested that I could pay with a transfer, which I did.
I thanked the man for helping me.

ABout six days later I recieved an email telling me that as the sale was popular they had run out of stock but had secured more and would deliver in 13 days time. That was the 31st of January. It is now the 1st March.

I went to look at the website only to find that it no longer exists.I tried to email them ( by replying to the earlier emails) but they were returned as a failure to deliver?

The transfer is listed on my bank account, so I called my bank today but was told as it was a transfer they cannot help me.

I then googled online fraud, and contacted a company called 'Action Fraud' on 0300 123 2040 They logged a report about what had happened and gave me a crime reference number. They said that the report would be passed onto the Police and told me to contact my bank again and to give them the crime ref number, which I did ( they said they still could not help me but would log the number)  and the Ombudsman, which I did and they said they would write to my bank.

I am not sure if any of this will help? or retrieve my money? I doubt it? But it is all I could do.

I feel a fool being duped like this, I spoke to the 'Customer Service' man four times in total when trying to make the purchase and I believed he was helping me.  I am a disabled lone parent and I cannot afford to throw money away, I feel angry with myself and upset at wasting my money. The website looked totally credible.

I cannot find any information about the company so I do not know if they went out of business or were just crooks ? Having read the couple of earlier reports on this site I think they are crooks.
