Wagan Corp - Honor International Corp - North American Gaming Commission, Sent me a check for $4922 and a letter saying I have been selected as a winner of unclaimed prize money in the amount of 522,000. They say I can deposit the (very authentic-looking) check as soon as I speak with their claims agent. I called late Friday but got a recording. Hayward California

I recieved a letter from North American Gaming Commission along with a check for $4922. The letter congratulated me on being the winner of unclaimed prize money in the amount to 522,000$ USD. They say I can deposit the (very authentic-looking) check only after speaking with their claims agent.
I called them late Friday and got a recording. I left a message but so far have not been contacted.
I noticed my claim number (PCH-10-6026) and the amount of the check is exactly the same as a person reporting from Pensacola, Florida.

Wagan Corporation/Honor International Corporation is in no way affiliated with North American Gaming Association. An unknown group or entity is operating a prize money check scam; fraudulently using the Wagan Corporation/Honor International Corporation name. The scam is being perpetrated with stolen checks from Cathay Bank. The banking account there is now closed. Do NOT cash the check from this prize money scam. This is a known scam tactic (see http://www.consumerfraudreporting.org/anatomy_of_a_scam.php). The check scam has already been filed as a fraud case with the Hayward, California Police Department.
If you have any information, come across this scam, or am a victim of this check scam, please contact Cathay Bank at (408) 437-6188. The bank is currently investigating the case.
