Recently an individual chose to file a false report on the animal rescue organization Wags and Walks. It angers me that someone would intentionally hinder the abilities of an organization that is truly out to better the lives of animals in need. I have seen first hand the amazing things Lesley Brog, the founder of this organization, has achieved through her rescue. In the time I have known Lealey, I have watched her rescue countless animals just minutes from euthanization. I have watched as she has nursed animals back to health and I have seen vet bills for countless spays, neuters and surgeries needed to rehabilitate and better the lives of these rescued animals. Even more rewarding, I watched as Lesley helped care for one of her rescues who was discovered to be pregnant after she was pulled from the shelter. Not only did Lesley care for Jasmine through her pregnancy, but she also helped with the birth of the puppies and cared for all 8 babies once they were born. Lesley worked diligently to find amazing homes for these 8 puppies in addition to their wonderful mom. Nearly all of Wags and Walks rescues are placed in homes in Southern California where she can do house checks as well as keep in touch and visit with her huge network of saved pups. The few dogs that are placed outside of this region are placed with partner groups and trusted individuals who Lesley has successfully partnered with over the years and whom she has fully researched to ensure successful placement. In addition to her tireless work in rescue, Lesley also dedicates time to educational programs in the community to help educate people on spay/neuter, the responsibility of animal ownership and the rewards that comes with that ownership. Lesley has such a big heart and does she get a high from rescuing these dogs? Of course she does. What better high than to see an animal at it's lowest point learn to be loved and to flourish In a new and healthy environment. Finally, Lealey is not an unemployed individual taking money from her own non profit, but rather a stay at home mom and entrepreneur who dedicates all of her spare time and often her own money to help pull as many at risk dogs as she can. All of the money raised for her organization goes directly back to the dogs saved.
I am truly sickened by any individual who would try to hinder a woman and an organization that is out to do so much good for the welfare of neglected or forgotten animals.

I am a volunteer with Wags and Walks in Los Angeles, CA. I personally know Lesley Zipkin-Brog, the founder. I can absolutely affirm, without question or hesitation, that this rescue foundation is a solid, honest, life saving, not for profit, star shining in the community! I work closely with Mrs. Brog & a small group of other volunteers who rescue, transport, care for & foster dogs of all breeds. I am proud to be associated with such an upstanding & honest group of people. I cannot imagine why anyone would post anything negative about Wags and Walks. I am glad to be a part of their team & will continue to volunteer my time with them as long as they will have me.
