Walkfit ,WF Joint Support Unauthorized Charges against bank card Hollywood California
The following morning, I discovered that rather than crediting my bank account, they had withdrawn an additional $44.85. My immediate call to the company resulted in my being informed that they had enrolled me in a vitamin program and that was the charge for the upcoming shipment of the "joint support formula". I explained that I had never ordered or authorized any such purchase and they explained that I did not have to authorize it because they had included paperwork with my insoles that stated that I was in the program and it was my responsibility to decline.
The package for the insoles contained no paperwork, not even a packing slip. They promised to cancel my involuntary subscription and not attempt to re-execute the charge (Walkfit Confirmation # 5932069). They failed to live up to their word and the next day another charge was pending.
Although my bank managed to block the transaction from Walkfit on 2 occasions, they managed to slip through under a different name of WF Joint Support and debited the account. I have since cancelled the bank card. To date, I never received any further package from the company.
Please check the Better Business Bureau, as of today there were 660 complaints, not inclusive of mine. On their website they indicate that there is a "free sample" of this joint formula to be shipped with each order, no mention of any subscription.
