I just purchased this Walmart Prepaid Debit Card so that my customers could pay me for my services by direct deposit.
But when I tried to activate it by phone, the automated dummy, could not understand what I was saying, and I am a phonics teacher of articulation etc...
So I decided to open up my account by computer. Reluctantly, I submitted all of my personal information and submitted it, but the reply kept coming back that my E-mail was incorrect, when in fact it wasn't.
So now I am stuck with a Prepaid Card that I can't use, plus someone has all of my pertenent data.

The title of this thread is misleading. The author refers to purchasing the WalMArt VISION Visa debit card. I work for the company that manages the Vision Prepaid Visa card program. The VISION card is NOT sold at WalMqrt. The author is referring to the WalMart Money card which is sold by another company named Green Dot. The title is both misleading and inaccurate as it harms the reputation of a card that the author does not own. Please check your card info and post again with accurate information.

If I understand your post correctly, you are getting a walmart visa debit card so that your customers can direct deposit money to it? If that is that case, that is part of your problem. These cards are reloadable prepaid money cards. Meaning you go to walmart, give them say 100$ and they put 100$ on to the card for you to use. If you need somewhere for your customers to deposit money, might I suggest opening a bank account?
Either way, have you gone back to walmart's customer service and inquired if the card was activated when you purchased it? Did you put money on it when you purchased it?
