The camera is broken by occasional use within the 2 year warranty limits. WALMART HAS REFUSED TO HONOR THE WARRANTY AFTER SEVERAL CALLS HAVE BEEN MADE SINCE JULY 20, 2010 FOR A REPLACEMENT OR REFUND.

My daughter is waiting to receive the promised check by USPS mail. This is caused because of my insistence, the BBB help, and the Walmart acknowledgement of their mistake.
Thanks to Rip-off Report for being part of the decent media to help consumers.
The case is now closed pending for the promised check.

If your calling walmart to get service, YES, they will deny you. Call the number they gave you on your paperwork when you got the camera.
And yes, You are REQUIRED to have that paperwork. It tells you this several times at checkout.
