Last week I received a call that showed up as "RESTRICTED" on the ID. Curious as to who it was I foolishly answered only to get the same fricken messege about my "Auto Warrenty was about to expire..." I rummaged around my tool chest as I waited again for the operator to ask "vehicle make and model" only this time I wasn't going to be nice and polite. and when they picked up I blew an air horn into my phone.
I know that the worker is just doing his job, but when their company is breaking the law I have no sympathy for a blown out eardrum. I put the phone up to my ear and heard a guy cussing and I told him to stop calling, as if he could have heard my voice after that. I hope they use that tape to prepare some of their new workers for the type of abuse they should expect.
I have since set my phone to not allow "unknown" or "restricted" calls to connect.
