I too am a victim of Jennifer Wartena having purchased a very sickly puppy in 2005. Unlike some of her other customers I was never refunded .I tried but gave up due to the stress. I live in Texas and could not afford to fly to California.I am sure that she will reply to my post as she has done to her other poor customers.Deny her wrong doing to us.
I have read all of the posts about her and was really taken back by the triple felony report.To read about all of the different addresses her customers have gone to in the same year was eye opening. What is going on? Several residences in a 1 to 2 year period? All in the same area? No wonder her ripped off customers are confused.How many groupies work with the con artist?
Why does she use residences that belong to other people? Why does she use phone numbers that do not belong to her? Who has her dogs?
Who takes care of them?
I am interested in a class action suit if we can all find a way to contact each other.

My pup from Jen is happy and healthy

I am very sorry for your troubles with this breeder but I had a positive experience and my little guy is happy and healthy.
When we went to meet our pup we were able to meet both of his parents. He was the last in his litter so we didn't see his litter mates. Jen was welcoming and sent us off with all the supplies we would need to get through the car trip home and the first few days. She even gave us a blanket that his mom had slept with to help with the separation anxiety.
The next day I took him to my vet to be checked out and the vet gave him a clean bill of health. He has been with us for 2 months now (he's 6 months old) and we have not had any behavioral or health issues. His AKC papers arrived in the mail today.
Again, I am sorry for the troubles you experienced. I wish you did not have to go through it but not all experiences with Jen are like yours.

Ok, it will take me a few days to respond, it will takes some time to pull all the sales contracts to prove when you started using mine, it will take some times to show ALL the name changes to avoid your customers. I was willing to let it go, you are not. You say I stole stuff off your site, nope, built a binder yes that you speak the truth. Court that is why.

OK, lets play... I didn't open up this can Debra, you have. I wanted my stuff off your site and you accused me of bashing so I have to go in an explain the whole damn story of why I am even involved with you. I thought just posting the links to the other reports would be good enough.
I will show your fraud ways as you like to point that out to everyone about the other breeder and yes someone is scamming someone with that picture but guess what? I have Bueno's AKC papers. What fraud name is the breeder? Shall I post them?

I know you will never ever sell a sick dog and if you do, you will take care of that customer 100% as you will worry she/he may find me and I will have to help them again. Me as well, I know you would be slobbering over finding something on me so I will make sure all my pups are of extreme health.
If I sold a pup that died, how come they are not complaining? ever thought about that? in fact they will chew you up and spit you out if you ever mess with me. Why? because my customers and myself become best friends, and I stand behind my puppies 100% no matter what.
Ok, off to go look through all these saved copies, as you did date your sales contracts lol. I will also scan in my very first customer's sales contract so you can see it hasn't changed.
OH for your FYI. I never knew Michelle or Judy till you put up your wowies me story about how you sold someone a female on a spay an neuter contract and they bred her lalalal etc. I got curious and found out who you were talking about.
And of course there are 2 sides to every story, prove your side, show the signed spay contract. YOU CAN'T But due to that I met Michelle, who is an outstanding source of knowledge and wisdom and one of the most wonderful people I have met.
Judy, who I called to find out if she knew who the breeder was you were talking about, is wonderful and though she takes a beating by you, she trugs on with her love for this breed and attends shows, not to show but to be there for others. I thank you for bringing these 2 wonderful people into my life, I am truly blessed.
So your 10 years of bashing, which just last your was 5, is all a lie. plus, I never bash, just defend myself. Also, I haven't been breeding Chihuahuas that long lol.

OH for your FYI. I never knew Michelle or Judy till you put up your wowies me story about how you sold someone a female on a spay an neuter contract and they bred her lalalal etc. I got curious and found out who you were talking about.
And of course there are 2 sides to every story, prove your side, show the signed spay contract. YOU CAN'T But due to that I met Michelle, who is an outstanding source of knowledge and wisdom and one of the most wonderful people I have met.
Judy, who I called to find out if she knew who the breeder was you were talking about, is wonderful and though she takes a beating by you, she trugs on with her love for this breed and attends shows, not to show but to be there for others. I thank you for bringing these 2 wonderful people into my life, I am truly blessed.

I was very upset when I placed that last response. i did alot of yelling in it. i do get upset and angry at times and think I hae a right to.
Gossip is mostly associated with malicious content and intent. Meant to give cheap thrill in seeing someone else belittled or relatively lowered in esteem.One who spreads gossip should be the one whose character is questioned rather then the one being spoken badly of.
As Bertrand Russell said "No one gossips about other people's secret virtues". Unlike the rolling stone, the gossip gathers moth. The story gets it's twists and adds on. The few elements of truth are enough to convince and render respectability to the whole story.
As humans we need to understand that we all make mistakes. ALL OF US. We have all done things in our lives we are ashamed of. ALL OF US

And another thing... How come the vet wasn't sued for failure to diagnose Gomez? He is at fault more than anyone because poor Gomez could not have gotten on the plane to Canada without that certificate from HIM. I get a sense that you really enjoy sticking it to her. :-(

I do not sell sick puppies!
I did not make any entries into your guest book! What I did do though is send your nasty comments you put in mine right back to you into yours.
You and your's sent horrible statements into mine.
Even a death threat sent to my guestbook!
So I cannot have a normal guest book. I have to set it up so that people can email me and I can post their comments and skip over your daily nasty ones.
Didn't you just recently sell a puppy that died from GIARDIA 2 weeks after sale? Lucky you sold the puppy to a good friend huh????
I HAVE NEVER EVER SOLD A PUPPY THAT HAS DIED!!!
I sold in my WHOLE breeding career TWO puppies with GENETIC DEFECTS and refunded both families.
I LET THEM KEEP THE PUPPIES,PLUS FULL REFUNDS and I EVEN PAID 1000.00 MEDICAL TO ONE OF THEM
Doesn't that make me GREAT TO BUY FROM???

I wanted a test to prove the defect.The woman was in ANOTHER COUNTRY.
It was 2005! Warning to breeders about scammers in Africa and Canada buying puppies, then faking their illness/death and requesting another puppy be sent.
So I wanted Proof before doing anything and she offered proof but I didn't get it or thought I didn't get it. She says it was in my mailbox for days,whatever.
I made her MANY SINCERE PROMISES ON WHAT I WOULD DO ONCE I GOT PROOF.
When the proof I wanted didn't come I emailed her a 3 year warranty.
THE THREE YEAR WARRANTY WAS ONLY UNTIL I GOT PROOF but she didn't know that since I mad a grave error and didn't put that info on the warranty
THEN WE LOST EMAILS TO SPAM AND AN MISUNDERSTANDING LED TO SHOCK ON BOTH UR PARTS
When she got my three year my warranty she emailed THREE EMAILS I DIDNT RECIEVE.
Since I didn't get the 3 emails I COULDNT RESPOND TO THEM !
SO SHE IS TOTALLY PANICED THINKING I I WAS IGNORING HER.
VERY NEXT DAY SHE WROTE A RIPOFF AND I WAS STUNNED BECAUSE I HAD NO IDEA SHE WAS UPSET ( remember I didn't get the three emails)
I was angry and emailed her WHY???. Never were the three lost emails known about by either of us until 2006.
So with the lost of those vital communication messages THEN I refused to refund her after she came to ripoff because I figured she owed me in damages from such defamation ALL OF IT WAS A MISTAKE. When he lost communications were found 2006 we both realized what a waste of our time had been online and we both felt so stupid. I fully refunded her plus let her keep the dog plus paid medical.
THIS CURRENT WAR ISN'T ABOUT HER!!! THAT IS A LIE TOO JENNIFER!!!

As of 2007 You now have a CHIHUAHUA CLUB MEMBER, who has sold TWO sick dogs to one buyer and one puppy died within 2 weeks of sale from a parasite infestation PRESENT AT TIME OF SALE.
The buyer had to send 3 thousand dollars trying to save the puppy.His second puppy was sick too.
This breeder hasn't refunded the buyer, nor even offers a replacement puppy BUT THIS IS OKAY WITH YOUR GROUP BECAUSE HE IS PART OF A CHIHUAHUA CLICK
TWO STANDARDS HERE??
That breeder can refuse to refund or pay medical. Whatever his reasons!

I sold in my WHOLE breeding career TWO puppies with GENETIC DEFECTS and refunded both families.
I LET THEM KEEP THE PUPPIES,PLUS FULL REFUNDS and I EVEN PAID 1000.00 MEDICAL TO ONE OF THEM

I wanted a test to prove the defect.The woman was in ANOTHER COUNTRY.
It was 2005! Warning to breeders about scammers in Africa and Canada buying puppies, then faking their illness/death and requesting another puppy be sent.
So I wanted Proof before doing anything and she offered proof but I didn't get it or thought I didn't get it. She says it was in my mailbox for days,whatever.
I made her MANY SINCERE PROMISES ON WHAT I WOULD DO ONCE I GOT PROOF.
When the proof I wanted didn't come I emailed her a 3 year warranty.
THE THREE YEAR WARRANTY WAS ONLY UNTIL I GOT PROOF but she didn't know that since I mad a grave error and didn't put that info on the warranty
THEN WE LOST EMAILS TO SPAM AND AN MISUNDERSTANDING LED TO SHOCK ON BOTH UR PARTS
When she got my three year my warranty she emailed THREE EMAILS I DIDNT RECIEVE.
Since I didn't get the 3 emails I COULDNT RESPOND TO THEM !
SO SHE IS TOTALLY PANICED THINKING I I WAS IGNORING HER.
VERY NEXT DAY SHE WROTE A RIPOFF AND I WAS STUNNED BECAUSE I HAD NO IDEA SHE WAS UPSET ( remember I didn't get the three emails)
I was angry and emailed her WHY???. Never were the three lost emails known about by either of us until 2006.
So with the lost of those vital communication messages THEN I refused to refund her after she came to ripoff because I figured she owed me in damages from such defamation ALL OF IT WAS A MISTAKE. When he lost communications were found 2006 we both realized what a waste of our time had been online and we both felt so stupid. I fully refunded her plus let her keep the dog plus paid medical.

This breeder hasn't refunded the buyer, nor even offers a replacement puppy BUT THIS IS OKAY WITH YOUR GROUP BECAUSE HE IS PART OF A CHIHUAHUA CLICK

I did not make any entries into your guest book! What I did do though is send your nasty comments you put in mine right back to you into yours.
You and your's sent horrible statements into mine.
Even a death threat sent to my guestbook!
So I cannot have a normal guest book. I have to set it up so that people can email me and I can post their comments and skip over your daily nasty ones.

Sorry, as stated and will state again and don't mind this report at the top, also, I am going to put a link on my website to it! It has all the info needed. I don't mind, I have done nothing wrong, I didn't sell sick dogs, I did not try running from my responsibilities, I did let all this go once she paid YET she insist on stealing my stuff off my website, I can care less if she steals off others, that is their battle. I would gladly let all this go IF she would learn from her mistakes and quit blaming everyone for her misfortunes. LET IT GO! MOVE ON! leave my stuff alone. I have people call every day about a reference and I say the same thing. I cannot recommend her at this time. I would call other breeders IN HER AREA and talk to them. IF she has upset breeder friends in her area, well, she should start making amends at that end!

After a long year she finally paid. These ladies wanted to give up many times as I assume others have too? Only Debra knows the answer to that. But they were troopers and continued the fight for the rights of their sick puppies that they are still, to this day, watching fade I am sure.
So let it go or drag it on. up to you Debra. I am more then willing to let it go but have my right not to refer you to my worse enemy lol you are happy to do the same, share my record, I don't care.

Googled it. Saw it. I have no sympathy.
As another comment was made, breeding is wrong on so many levels. Many animal rights activists believe breeding deprives animals of their natural lives. They believe their freedom to choose a mate of their own is taken from them. They also say it is an unnatural situation and bringing more dogs into an already over-taxed system is just abhorrent.
Not only the destruction of these beautiful animals in shelters but the slaughter of innocent chickens, cows and other animals to feed the next generation and so on of puppies is just sickening.

And you are the exact person I will never place a puppy with. Puppies are not perfect and do make mistakes as do humans and it is people like you who convict a person for life, who end up taking their precious puppy to the pound since he will not potty train as fast or barks to much. People who convict people for life are the ones who need to seek forever forgiveness.
If you must know, I never spent one night in jail so now you can make your own conclusion of what could I of possible of done that would not constitute any time.
Now, I did what I needed to do to take care of myself and forgive myself. You can condemn me for life, I do not care and it is YOU who would never make it as a pet owner or a parent for that matter since you cannot forgive and/or forget the past. I choose to live in the future and that is where I will be.
Let's hope no one in your family EVER makes a mistake. Or maybe they have? maybe you have as well? do you cheat on your taxes? just because you haven't been caught doesn't mean you are not a criminal. What would you do if your son got arrested for stealing candy? kick him out of the house? No, you forgive him, he has learned his lesson and becomes a productive member of society. AND becomes a better person for it. Our past teaches us the future and molds us to be who we are. We hand down to our children our life experiences. Due to what I went through, my children have never drank, done drugs, or even smoked for that matter.
But I must say, that everytime it is brought up, it is a kick in the pants. Instead of seeing it as a negative, it reminds me where I have been, what I have experienced, how I need to help the next person suffering through addiction. I get complacent and these stupid reports just remind me of what I went through. THEN I take a step back and look at all my accomplishments, who I have helped, how my children have turned out, how to treat people with love and compassion as I too would want to be treated. Sometimes we get so busy in life that it passes us by before we realize we have done nothing to help man kind, the environment, or our neighbors. Some of these things are learned in life when you learn to appreciate it.
How many of you drive by that homeless man with the sign. Don't make eye contact and we tell our kids this! he is just an alcoholic or will spend the money on drugs. We stereotype every one on the street. WE have a full frig and do not know what it is like to be hungry or living in the cold. NOT you perfect people that's for sure. My daughter will not let me drive by one without handing them something, anything, she will give her only dollar to them. This is my daughter that I raised! who will not follow in my early year footsteps but am proud to say, she is a spitting image of me.
Until you walk in someone's shoes, try not to condemn them. Go down to the court house and pull my record, you will see for yourself what the charges are for. 1.00 you can have all the proof you want.
Let me tell you where I ended up besides an addiction to Chihuahuas :-) I work for a prestigious accounting firm for which I am a full charge bookkeeper during the year and a staff accountant at tax time. I pay my taxes as do the rest of you, except I get mine done for free :-) I hope the perfect ones who like to condemn people for life, never face Jesus..

If you are so concerned get a runner to go to the courthouse and get you a copy for 10 cents a page since you are in California. These records will show you the WHOLE truth of this person's convictions, and not what Debra Drury wants you to think. You are so concerned about someone's character for something that happened 15 years ago and not concerned about what a scammer is trying to do to the average consumer who only wants a little happiness from a puppy. This scammer knows what the charges are and again is misleading the public for her agenda MONEY! Debra Drury is not only a puppy scammer, she is an extortionist and a blackmailer. Now, how is she any better than the person she points her finger at? She's not! And one day someone may extort and blackmail her when she get convicted for her crimes if any of her customers get enough courage to bring her to justice. I would do it because she has tried to extort me. But I have no damages because she cannot find anything to dig up on me. But, unfortunately, she has dug into each one of her complaining customers' business (she has bragged about it on her website and in this forum how she went about doing it) and is using it as leverage. That is why you know of this person's past, Debra posted it as punishment because this person located her for wronged consumers. Who wants all of their personal business aired on her website or this forum? So if you think this person who has felonies is so scary, you have seen nothing yet until you cross Debra Drury. And I have the proof in black and white! Debra needs to know that she is not the only person who knows how to dig up dirt. She has not covered her tracks as well as she thinks. You see, once you tell a lie, you have to keep on telling lies to cover up that lie, and SHAZAAAAM! you hang yourself. She is a consumers worst nighmare.

Nobody is addressing these felonies. This is very scary. I for one would never want to do business with someone who was a repetitive criminal. Who was harmed because of these crimes? This shows content of character and it was over a time frame of years.

I agree with you in many ways. However, many of the "purebreds" you find in shelters come from backyard breeders who do not breed to the standards. Therefore, you get a dog for $200 to $400 dog and you don't want him any long, you dump him. Unfortunately, there are also animals who were not bred properly that you may have also paid over $1000 but the breeder scammed you into believing your dog had the "perfect" personality, was "rare" and "exotic" and guranteed that if you weren't happy you could return it. When that time came, SHAZAMM! you can't find the breeder or the breeder renegs on the agreement. Okay, another dumped dog.

According to the Humane Society, between twenty to thirty percent (estimate) of dogs in shelters are purebred. The only way to stop the unfathomable suffering is to STOP BREEDING. This means EVERYONE. Three to four million animals are euthanized every year. Many would have been wonderful companions if they were given a chance.
Every breeder fills a space that these unwanted animals need so, so badly. Sadly, too many will never get the chance of a loving home. I say, give the wonderful animals at the Humane Society or a no kill shelter a chance instead of breeders!!!

I really don't mind, I know you like to fight and you are really hitting your head on a rock.
I would not go as far as you have that EVERY breeder online has some emails from other breeders unhappy buyers. The only complaints I have ever received are about you, and in each every case, I can produce the original email and all correspondence thereto. In fact, I believe a number of them are on the various reports you have instigated on this forum. My claims are out in the open for all to see. How about yours? I invite you to provide those emails you proclaim you have about me from my unhappy customers to this forum. EVERY breeder online has some emails from other breeders unhappy buyers.That is normal!I have the names of many breeders given to me by many buyers who had trouble dealing with various breeders.
I have several emails from some of your past buyers who have contacted me over the last 2 years .They list hydrocephalus, patella surgeries, one hip deformity surgery and the other three are personality and size issues. I have only heard their side of the story and not your side so that leaves out all the facts.
If you have unhappy buyers of mine who have emailed you in the last couple years then you should ask for my side .I such be allowed to address the allegations.
I do know that you have a couple consumers who I didn't approve to adopt a puppy who are angry and emailed you, but those are NOT customers.
You can see my hundred references posted on my web site from satisfied customers so that washes away your reason that you wouldn't refer people to me.lol
You and your friends conned animal control to come over and what was the result? The report states my home is clean and dogs healthy.
I've never seen a report on your place so perhaps it was too generous of me to say I would refer customers to you.
As for the complaints on you that I have, I figure ALL breeders have some unhappy buyers and it is normal to have a few over the years.
As for being a brokers I am not. I love Maltepoos and I have a relative and her friend who are licensed and they breed them .I have ought a couple of them for myself. I also manage these persons web sites .they bring their puppies over to my home and I take pictures for them .These are older people who do not know how to make web sites, etc..
I bought 3 Yorkies in the last year for myself. What is wrong if I breed Yorkies and Maltese for that matter?
Doesn't the show breeder you respect and like, Rick Morgan also breed Yorkshires? Isn't what is good the the goose good for the gander? It is Okay for him to breed Chihuahuas and Yorkies but not for me?

First of all you are wrong on all counts. Every consumer agency will be interested in how you operate. I do not have to say anything about you because you have said it all on your website and in this forum.
When you stated on your website that you HAD contacted my employer because I work with troubled children, etc., you did that for the purpose of scaring me to back off my investigation of your practices. I am trying to figure out where on earth you even came to the conclusion that I worked with troubled children other than your lerking around the Internet and, with your little pea brain comprehension, took something out of context.
As I have stated before, I don't have an employer! And you know I don't have an employer because you spent the whole day yesterday digging and digging trying to find out how you could get that power over me. This is a small world we live in and you would be surprised who knows who. You are an extortionist by your own admission.
I do not have to write or insinuate lies about you because you have told it all in your own words and hand. I call you a broker because you have so many breeds you peddle on the web and I have copies of each and every one. Now if that isn't considered a brokerage then my mistake. It would be apparent then that you are a puppymiller. To have that many dogs, producing that many breeds: chihuahuas, morkies, yorkies, maltesepoos, pom-poos, well, gee, Debra, your little hobby would give every appearance to being a brokerage or a puppymill.
Jennifer's suggestion that you stop advertising that you have something to sell that does not exist has to do with ethics. Any sane, reasonable and intelligent person can see that this was not a threat. That's your style. It was merely a statement and that is why she and every other breeder may have issues with you. I cannot really speak for Jennifer, but that is what I comprehended from her statement.
As I have stated before, and I will state again, I don't believe any serious, ethical, or reputable breeder sees you as competition. If you have to lie to the public and prey on vulnerable people who need material things that are classified as exotic and rare in order to get a high price for your pups, then what is wrong with your pups?
As I stated before, you have some cuties so why can't you just say "For sale, cute little chihuahuas" instead of "rare and exotic, guaranteed teacup chihuahuas." Why don't you charge a high price because you are selling quality not fantasy. If people want to pay what you charge so be it. But they should be getting what you represent they are buying.
Again, you are no competition. Your pups do not even come close to Jennifer's. But I may be bias because I have so much respect for her and her breeding program. I have seen them from birth and able to watch them grown until they go to their homes. I have seen them with their mommies and littermates. I have watched them grow each and every week WITH their true dates of birth from beginning to end.
And, I have seen a number of pups on the Internet that are either inferior or superior to Jen's and those breeders, to my kowledge, are not trying to destroy her or visa versa. These are professional, intelligent business people who are secure with their product and up-front with the customers. And, then, there is you. You are definitely in a class of your own.
Now, about the assassination of your character. I have told you before, one cannot assassinate one's character if one has no character. So, again, you flatter yourself. You have assassinated your own character, that is if you ever had one. You are your own worst enemy and the reason you have so many problems is because you are not woman enough to look in the mirror and take responsibility for your own actions.
You say you are a hobby breeder, but how can that be when you are peddling puppies all over the Internet. Now, whose lie is that? These websites are written by YOUR OWN HAND! And, you also state that you sell these puppies to pay for the cats you rescue because you get no donations. Now, isn't that rich! See how rediculous you look? You breed mix-breeds that our shelters are already full of in order to pay for the over population of cats. You are a walking work of deception and stupidity.

OK wake up and smell the coffee. You should know what blackmail is. I have the emails remember? lets see what type of character you are. You wanted me to walk away from helping your customers or you would post my record.

Need to address the Animal Control

Based on the behavior of this breeder, misspelled names, all the different names, health cert with white out, no address (mailbox etc) cell phone, wrong birth dates for pups, possible wrong parents?. All the internet scams going on, wouldn't this appear to be one too? very sick dying dog. Nasty, nasty emails from the breeder to the buyer. SO, buyer did what I would suspect any one to do, she called the police, police suggested civil court and contacting this place and that BBB, attorney general, so on so forth including Animal control. IF this breeder has reason's to change the spelling of her name and names of others and use initials then there must be other buyers who have gone through the same thing with this breeder and the possible reason why this breeder is in hiding (don't forget about all the company name changes). She did call animal control. I would of too if I was in her shoes along with any other buyer who got treated the way this one did. Animal control went out and found lots of kitties so don't even go there saying they called to harm your little kitties. She didn't even know about them, they were not on your site at that time. I have proof so don't even go there. Animal control found no adult dogs!
I would talk to your friend about why she called animal control. I thought it was pretty shitty she wrote a report since you did pay her back less 500.00. Since she didn't want to take on the task of possible lux surgery of costing 3000.00 I didn't blame her for pulling out like she did. But didn't feel it was right to write the report. I have proof of those emails as well. Once I read her report and she had explained how you gave her a short amount of time to come up with the balance of 3000.00 for the dog after you told her she had plenty of time, I thought that was strong arming your customers, so maybe the report was justified who knows, that is between you and your friend.
Now, to address the nice kennel you keep some of your dogs at, Hmmm I swore I heard somewhere that you had to remove all your dogs about a year ago. But who knows, we all know about hearsay huh? Probably around the time you had posted looking for foster families to take care of the females you had. ring a bell? I could be wrong. But I got proof of that as well.
Why 6 vets? isn't that hard to keep track who has record of what dog? or is it just an office with 6 vets in it? If you are a small time hobby breeder (CA law states anyone who breeds no more then 2 litters a year is a hobby breeder, everyone else must have proper licenses) Then why need 6 vets?

AM Borrassa was the accountant NOT the daughter, She actually told us to sue AM borassa she sent the mispelled "Bourassa" "Borassa" on purpose as to not be able to identify her. I have the money order copies, signed and by Amber with the correct spelled last name. You wrote on front of the money orders AMBER why manipulate it? why not tell the buyer up front AMBER not AM (simple explanation) extortion! can't spell your last name? I have the emails she tells the buyer "I think you need to sue Amber since that is who you sent the money too" that is protection I would say! with family like that who needs enemies.
You opened up the can of worms by posting false reports. We have found out more then you would like us to know about your tactics (thank you Arte, Thank God you are on my side lol). You now need to let this go. I see you have removed your garbage about the show breeder and that is good, now we can let this go?? maybe if you remove the stupid stuff about AKC and Teacups. People wouldn't judge you.

First of all, of all the documents my investigative staff have acquired, there have not been any death threats against you. You are not worth going to jail.
Secondly, does this peace offer come because you have been caught? You are the one who tripped up yourself. Your greed and deceitful ways is what is about to expose you. All evidence was written by our own hand and practiced by you by your own admission.
Whether you have bred the pups you sell or broker them for other breeders is not the issue. They are cute little pupies and I can't understand why you cannot sell them just as that! Whatever price you want to set on them is your business. But when you set your description of the pup for the purpose of getting a higher price and the information is until, that is FRAUD! You are an active participant in fraud. When you clean up your act and treat the public with respect, then consumer agencies will not be after you. And, when you stop spreading lies about things you no nothing about, especially about the puppy who died, then people will leave you alone.
On your website you state "this breeder and her gang" has been harassing me for 10 year, then it went to 5 years, and now you are down to 2 years. You would not know the truth or be able to tell it if it bite you in the ass.
When you stop ripping off the public with your lies about the Chihuahua breed and stop extorting and black mailing your opponents, maybe you can create some peace for yourself. In the meantime, my evidence and information will be distributed. After all, you did not see anything wrong with pubishing it on the wide wide world of the internet, why worry if I share it also.

First of all, of all the documents my investigative staff have acquired, there have not been any death threats against you. You are not worth going to jail.

I think this is a great opportunity to thank all of you who have Googled my name and came across these idiotic and false reports about me. I thank you for taking the time to read through them and see that they are false. I have had so many people email me regarding them and say, Good for you. So that is nice. I have also had people email me after they have purchased pups to say they have seen the reports and state, Boy, if I would of seen the report prior to purchasing, I may have walked way. But now having my puppy and knowing you the way I do, I am glad I didn't see the reports. I am sure there are others who have walked away due to the reports. I would have loved for them to have read the reports below and make their judgment based on these reports. You will see my part in this was merely helping out a few customers who had the misfortune of running into the breeder that they did.

If she has done nothing wrong, why so many names? Wizard of Claws did the same thing. They have changed their name to avoid all the media and bad publicity on this board. If you have done nothing wrong then why hide?
Okay, so total counting all dogs on her 2 websites, there are well over 60 dogs and they are a small family of breeders who share their love for the breed and raise their dogs in their houses. Holy moly!! 60 dogs! 3 houses! All 3 houses for which we have the addresses too) means they have at least 20 dogs per house! In the bedrooms? Can you imagine the smell? No wonder she has all those air filter contraptions. And, since every county has a four pet per household limit, they can't go outside and enjoy the sun! So, are they kept in crates and pens all day every day, 24/7, 365 days. Poor mama and papa dogs! And I forgot to include the 12 cats! And that is only at one house! However, my dogs live on 5 acres and have lush green lawns, soft comfy beds at night in their huge building which is right off the main house (actually in better condition then the house but we won't open up that can of worms), Okay, I said my piece regarding my facility and theirs. In any case you can come visit ALL my dogs and ALL my puppies as long as you are willing to scrub down.
In addition, I am building a rescue and that is the only truth this breeder has ever shared about me. It will be a huge 800 sq ft building holding up to approximately 25 dogs. Each one will be treated as my own until they find their forever homes. Each one will have the same luxuries as my dogs and be treated as part of the family until I can find them their forever family. They will remain with me until they do find their forever family AND NONE WILL EVER BE EUTHANIZED. We also will take in others besides Chihuahuas as the county animal control deems proper. I am so happy to be able to give back to the canine community. This has been a dream of mine since the minute I decided to breed. This has been a goal that I will accomplish. We are licensed and animal control inspected, AKC inspected. All of our dogs are registered to me and not under fictitious names as we have discovered by this breeder or some deceased gentleman. However clueless Bre may be, all rescues are spayed/neutered before being assigned to our facility. In addition, all of my dogs are AKC registered. And DNAd but not CKC (and I don't mean Canadian). All are of high quality and NOT rescues or brokered. They are all legitimately bred or purchased by me.
As stated above, potential buyers are more then welcome to come to our home. We will not require you to meet us at the pet store, our vets, the park, or some third-party's home. You will be able to observe the puppies with their birth mothers and not with just a picture of them on our website.
In addition, we will give you the exact spelling of our name and not hide behind initials such as AM Borrassa and then change your money order to Amber Bourassa (which is or was at the time when payments were made, a minor child). This too is evidenced in black and white!

I just wanted to set the record straight about the recent attack on Jen Wartena and the reference to her "big large dog pound out in the boon docks"! First of all, I have been to Jen's property and it is great for her dogs. Lots of room to run and play. I purchased a puppy from her in January, 2007. Not only was my puppy healthy, happy, well adjusted and pee pad trained, he was well taken care of by Jen. Jen breeds her puppies striving to improve the Chi breed and every one of her customers appreciates this. She is one of the most loving breeders I have met and she stands behind her dogs 100%, no matter what.
It is really sad that some people use this ripoffreport.com website as a tool to injure people's reputation because "they can" and because they are jealous. Jealousy is a very dangerous emotion and when used by bad people, can cause harm to others. Why do you use this site to make a perfectly good breeder look bad? Let me tell you it is NOT working. Jen has a huge following and all of her hard work with her dogs and her up and coming rescue will pay off for her and her family in the end by making their hearts full of love.
Please grow up and learn when enough is enough. If you are not following the breeding guidelines then do something about it but don't blame others for your shortcomings.

Bre, I notice you have made three entries on Ripoff today. You are very busy little lady and I would bet your name is not Bre.
It is too bad that you don't know what you are talking about and are apparently jealous of what Ms. Wartena is providing to her community.
I would rather purchase a puppy from a well oiled and running kennel than from poor dogs who are kept in cages stacked 2 or 3 times over in your garage, kitchen and bedroom of your trailer. I guess that is why you need those air freshing things because if you are breeding 8 dogs in your house, surely it smells to high heaven.
Oh, and by the way, Bre, Debra, or whoever you are, extortion is a felony and slander with the intent to harm is a felony. Your trying to extort me by threatening to go to my employer will be published today for all to see and my investigation of your activities will not stop!

I Went to her website and she is going to be a big large kennel in the boon dock woods. Poor dogs bred for money.Why do breeders have to have so many dogs to breed for money.How about not more then 8 and in a nice house.
I have a felony too and I do not think having three felonies is bad, So what if Jen Wartenas has a few felonies. My brother has 2 felonies and my Unce is in prison now for a couple years for drugs but at least it wasnt murder.Now that would be a bad felony. My grandma who is 61 had a couple felonies too when she was young.Most of my friends have been to jail a few times but they get out in a year or less most times.

I own a healthy Chihuahua I bought from Jen

I bought a Chihuahua from Jen Wartena back in January 2007. I took the dog to the vet, and he confirmed the dog is healthy.
I actually went to Jen's house to pick up my puppy, and she is an amazing breeder. She keeps the new puppies in her own living room, with the dams attending to them. It is rare that a breeder takes such good care of puppies and their dams.
All of the puppies appeared to be healthy and very friendly. She not only raises quality Chihuahuas -- she and her children play with them and make sure they are properly socialized. She raises her puppies on some of the highest quality premium foods available.
These accusations are simply not true. I have visited Jen's home and the puppies live in her own home. She would not sell a sick puppy. Go to her "past puppies" page and you will see nothing but satisfied customers.
The puppy I bought from her (Silvester -- son of Chico and Babydoll) is not only healthy, but exceptionally beautiful. I get nothing but compliments on how cute he looks, and how different he looks than most Chihuahuas. Unlike most breeders who pump out the Paris Hilton fawn colored Chihuahua, Jen has a lot of diversity in the gene pools she breeds. No Chihuahua looks like Silvester. He is a unique and beautiful dog that is physically strong (he can run up stairs faster than me!) and well behaved.

I am always interested in new breeders as I will be showing some of my Wartena Chihuahuas and, should they do well, be looking for qualified studs.
You sound like a really nice person and it too bad you have gotten caught up in this thing. I may be able to track down your culprit as I have an excellent private investigator working on this matter.
I am sure you see, as well as everyone else, that this breeder loves to exploit Ms. Wartena's background. The funny thing about it is that she never says what the actual charges are and any fool can find out at their local court house. This is just another misleading sham against someone who has made a very successful comeback for herself and her family. In fact, I am so impressed and that is another reason she has my business, my family's business, and my friends' and newly met friends' business.
Since I work for the court system, I know what the charges are and it is of no importance to me because I believe in our Constitution.
I look forward to watching your website and wish you well and hope this "questionable" person does not involve you in her web of deception any further.

My name is Alanna and I am a chi breeder in Maryland. About 3 days ago, someone hacked into my email and has wreaked havoc using it. They have sent emails on it and posted on here acting as me. I can tell you certainly that it wasn't me. I have filed a complaint with yahoo (My email provider) and have now been looking everywhere that I can and did a search to see that there is a post here that was supposed to be me. It was not me and I hope that anyone who knows me knows that I do not and never will operate in this malicious manner. It appears that they have been sending emails
Jen, I do not know you, have never talked to you but I hope that you accept my sincere apology that someone who attacked you pretending to be me caused. Some people have nothing better to do than waste time, energy and air causing problems.

Correction to my new puppy's daddy

Sorry, I inadvertently said Taz is the sire of Godiva's puppies. Actually, it is Chico. I was wishing it would be Taz, but old Taz has a new litter coming up, so I am excited about getting one of his pups. And I am hoping that Susy and Jen will work together so that I can get a pup from Godiva and Taz.
It is nice to see two great breeders working together for quality puppies.

As the future owner of one of Godvia's puppies, I can attest to the fact that Jennifer Wartena is most definitely the owner of Godvia as I have seen both Godiva, Taz (the sire), the litter, and the proof of ownership of both Godiva and Taz. These are the credentials I require from a breeder BEFORE I render any money to any private seller. In fact, I visited Ms. Wartena's establishment to inquire about a puppy from another litter on the day Godiva arrived from Susyschihuahuas. She is an adorable little dog, as is the sire. In anticipating the breeding and whelping of a litter from this match, I placed my name on an early "waiting list" for this litter. And it was well worth it. These puppies are so magnificent and I just hate that little Godiva is going to go back to Florida. I guess California has been too cold for her.
I suspect this accusation is not from an "interested" consumer, but from a breeder who has been harassing a number of breeders in California who operate reputable breeding programs. Upon my private investigation, this breeder has used numerous alias and is not in good standing with AKC and will not be ever again for approximately 10 years. Therefore, this breeder/broker has not been able to intice consumers like myself to purchase her questionable stock.
I am not a breeder but a lover of the Chihuahua breed. I have been purchasing Chihuahuas for myself, including various friends and family members as gifts and, therefore, have spent a fortune on puppies during the past several years. Because of the quality, integrity, and satisfaction we have received, all of my puppies have been from the Wartena bloodlines.
If anyone is guilty of anything, it is the person who wrote the these lies. It is a desparate attempt to eliminate the competition. And I don't understand why because this breeder's inventory could never stand up against a Wartena Chihuahua.

I am here to say I am shocked to see that Jen Wartena has stolen pictures from a reputable breeder and has pictures showing as her own dogs. If you go to her website, she shows pictures from another breeder in Florida. susyschihuahuas.com and you can see that Jen has ripped off Susys pictures claiming they are her own dogs.

Each and every report here on ripoff against Jennifer Wartena is because she is one of the most respected, honest breeders that has come up against a large puppymill operation in California.
The owners of this puppymill are doing their best to discredit Jennifer. This puppymill ring leader is Debra Drury/Bourassa/Washington (Chidolls, Famous Pups), Dawn Dalyce (Sugar N Spice), Brenda Hagle (Currently suspended from the AKC from Lees Fashion Poos), A.M. Borassa (Amber Bourassa), Maureen Drury/Bourassa, Mark and Cindy Drury, Della Drury, Brenda Bourassa, etc.,
Jennifer assisted me with my sick puppy when Debra Drury refused to honor her contract or the California Puppy Lemon Laws. Due to her assistance with the health of my puppy, she has received numerous threats from the above ring leader.

I offered you lots of money to show proof, I know Debra put you up to this and I want you to know, Debra has stole, committed fraud against others as well as her family members including a disabled man, she has committed state and federal fraud, broke hearts of many and many families, and I have had more people contact me wanting to know what they can do to get their money back. She is a far better criminal then I could think of being and she will get caught. KARMA will get her and I will gladly sit in court as she is handed down the sentance. I am working deligently witht the DAs office regarding all these reports, they now have 3. So I know she wanted you to write this report against me and that is fine but you can recoop your money if you would please contact me. My lawyer is arranging all the court docs as we speak. I have a PI (private investigator) working on all the names. SO fingers crossed we can find Amber and drag her into court as well since her name is on everything. I am sorry Debra sold you a sick dog and you are trying to recoop, We think Jodie did the same thing and we also know that Debra is trying to butter up anyone she can so be careful she will sting.
