I was holding a WAMU credit card, and i always paid more then twice the minimum, and i had never been delinquent. When chase took over about a month later they increased my intrest rate from 9.99% to 21.24%, when i called and asked why they were rude and never told me why before they hung up. Then a week or two later they closed my account and said the only way out was to pay entire card off. I completely disagree with how they took over good customers and just basically steal from them with no regard to the people who bailed them out when they screwed up.
