I was involved with the jehovah witness I feel I contributed so much to that organization as well as others, they take your time money, emotions, and your not allowed to feel, and that's a lot.

When I was in there I had abusive husband, I was encourage to stay because the God of this publishing company doesnt want to be disgraced, meanwhile it was one of there fellow publishers, they called everyone publishers, which we are not.

I went door to door took abuse, well anyway I decided to leave my husband I was encourged to stay, Ileft they told not to go to the world for help I had to, were they going to help me finacially no, Then they said the world is set up to help, so go to the battered women. All those years of door to door and buying magazines meant nothing. You were not allowed to got to college at that time so you are still under their mercy and your husband, I blame that bible company falsely setting themselves up as a God, Even at one point taking my children and hiding them, with my exhusband.

This happened years ago but, I feel, there guidance keeps you in line for vulunerabilty, there fuel is fear, look at the website and see how happy there are and the world is dying by destruction. http://quotes.watchtower.ca/pictures.htm Please take note of every picture and the dates Twin Towers 20 years before the destruction, I feel that organization, takes you life into there hands because you truely belive God is with them, God doesnt enjoy people dying they do. They are happy.

JEHOVAH'S ORGANIZATION IS A SCAM!!!

AUTHOR: 96003 - (United States of America)

The Watchtower Org. is a BUSINESS that produces religious literature. The company has several levels of hierarchy, the lowest position is what they call a publisher, which is a human drone who has been sucked in either by force of parents or vulnerability. I won't describe all the levels in detail but here is a list of positions available if you need to feel important and you can't feel this importance in the real world. ( Publisher, auxilary pioneer, pioneer, special pioneer, ministerial servant, elder in training, elder, congregation overseer, circuit overseer, treasurer, secretary, district overseer, missionary, gilead candidate, gilead graduate etc).

The Watchtower presents itself as "AN ANGEL OF LIGHT" providing literature with compelling pictures and psycho babble anyone not in their right mind will find interesting. Once you join you will realize the strict scrutiny you are now under and the only fun you can have is what the society has laid out for the members as being okay.

The only love dubbs have is conditional. This means as long as you do the song and dance you are in good standing, but the moment you make a decision on your own that does not correlate with the orgs set of instructions you are now a danger to the members and are described as a disease that can infect the minds of the other members. This is actually in print by the Watchtower.

The witnesses may be kind people to your face and seem honest and all that, but the truth is , they say some of the most unkind words to describe people who no longer believe or those who take no interest in their message.

At your door they will not tell you to abandon your family or let your children die, but when you are a member and have signed your baptism sheet, you become susceptible to the "new rules" you never knew existed prior to baptism. You will become depressed but you will hide it because if you complain about it basically the end result will be the repetitive phrase all dubbs use on a very regular basis, "JEHOVAH WILL TAKE CARE OF IT"

This is just a small tidbit of information I am providing for those who are witnesses and refuse to admit to themselves what I have written is true or those who may be considering the "WITNESS LIFESTYLE". There is more to know by far!!

Randy WATTERS,Free minds, money makers off of cutting down Jehovah's Witness

AUTHOR: Bill - (U.S.A.)

MOST OF THESE COMPLAINERS ARE MAD
BECAUSE, THEY COULD NOT RUN THE J.W. ORGANIZATION,
(So I have been told) They were asked to leave N.Y., they just didnt walk out. Look at their web site and see their money making deals.(BIG BUCKS)
Selling pure junk.

Anyone who would devote their life to cut people down like they do, needs God to help them.
These people come to my door and try to sell me nothing.
I GOT MY OWN FAITH AND DONT NEED ANYONE COMING TO MY DOOR OR YOU TELLING ME HOW BAD PEOPLE ARE,
My Church (Baptist) has never come to my door UNLESS I DIDN'T PAY MY TITHE .
Or like these T.V. preachers who got private jet planes and million dollar homes.
Write about them sometime.

I dont think anyone should devote their life to their cause of hurting people. I found this web site after reading their hate mail on their web site.
HOPE THEY GET A HOLD ON THE REAL LIFE. JUST BE KIND.

The Jw's have consistently lied.

AUTHOR: Max - (U.S.A.)

Jehovah's Witnesses are a Demonic Cult Full Post View | List View
Treating people with respect.
Jehovah's Witnesses ruin young people's lives.
I described myself recently as no longer angry.

That was a lie.

I am angry at the way Jehovah's Witnesses treat their most precious endowment; their young, developing, stumbling, exasperating, questioning, experimenting, growing,
offspring.

At the very most urgent time in their young lives; when they need the most reassurance, nurturing, patience, understanding and forgiveness, Witness parents under the direction of their congregation elders and governing body, toss thousands of these young ones out into the cold, cruel world, allowing them to virtually self-destruct.

Many of these castaways are still in their teens.

There is NO excuse, Biblical, human, parental or otherwise to shut off all the guidance resources these young ones have ever known.

The human wreckage of this disgusting practice is astronomical.

The act of disfellowshipping teenagers and other young persons is probably the most unshepherdly and cowardly activity of the Watchtower.

It is a heinious crime.Tags: | Edit Tags

The Watchtower abuses children
There is growing evidence that the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society is being implicated in having encouraged elders, ministerial servants and even those higher up in the organization to cover over cases of child sexual abuse, male and female rape, molestation as well as domestic violence in their local congregations.
The reason?

The leadership is determined to give the public the impression that they are "God's Organization," a safe haven from the world. The truth of the matter may be far different.

Transcript of CNN Connie Chung Tonight Program "Witnesses abused? Church accused of failing children"
An interview with sexual abuse victims Heidi Meyer & Amber Long and former elder Bill Bowen by Connie Chung

Aired August 14, 2002 - 20:00 ET

[edited down to section on Jehovah's Witnesses]Watch CNN Program with Windows Media Player
CHUNG: Most of us, I suspect, know the Jehovah's Witnesses only as the men and women who go door-to-door handing out literature about their faith. Jehovah's Witnesses are evangelical Christians, with about 1 million members here in the U.S. The movement was founded in the 1870s in Pennsylvania. Jehovah's Witnesses believe in the bible as the literal word of God. They do not allow blood transfusions, do not serve in the military or celebrate Christmas or birthdays.

Now, some members say that something awful is happening behind closed doors, a pattern of alleged child abuse that the religious organization has not only failed to report but, they say, has even helped to keep from the authorities.

Tonight we'll introduce you to two young women who say they've been victimized by a Jehovah's Witness member.

Joining us from Minneapolis to tell their stories in the first person are Heidi Meyer and Amber Long. Also joining us is a man who's tried to bring together alleged victims of abuse within the Jehovah's Witnesses. He's William Bowen, once an elder within the congregation who resigned his position two years ago in protest against the way the group deals with suspected abusers.

Welcome to all of you. Now, Heidi, you were 10 years old when you were first abused. What happened?

HEIDI MEYER, ALLEGEDLY ABUSED BY JEHOVAH'S WITNESS: The man who abused me...

CHUNG: Was a Jehovah's Witness?

MEYER: He was a Jehovah's Witness in my congregation. His name is Derrick Lindelah (ph). He was a friend of the family. He was friends with my brother and I was friends with his younger sisters, and whenever the opportunity arose or whenever he created an opportunity, he would pull me aside and molest me any chance he got.

CHUNG: How long did this go on, Heidi?

MEYER: Until -- into my 13th year. Just after I turned 13.

CHUNG: All right. And you reported this to the elders in the Jehovah's Witnesses. And what happened?

MEYER: When I was 15, I went to the elders with this, as we're instructed as Jehovah's Witnesses to do. And I spoke to them in the hopes of discontinuing this problem, and that they would step in and take care of this person.

CHUNG: Did they?

MEYER: No, they did not. They not only said that they thought I had misinterpreted his actions, but they also told me that I needed to be careful who I spoke to about this and what I said about this, because without two eyewitnesses to the situation, I could be faced with a judicial committee for gossip or slander.

CHUNG: Basically, do you think they were trying to tell you not to go to the police? MEYER: Absolutely. They said to go to the police and bring this matter to court would be a reproach on God's name and God's organization.

CHUNG: So you kept quiet.

MEYER: Absolutely. Under threat of -- under threat of excommunication.

CHUNG: Yes, from the Jehovah's Witnesses. And your whole family, your whole family belonged, so it meant something to you to belong, as well.

MEYER: Absolutely. Not only my family, but as a Jehovah's Witness, you associate only with members in good standing. And that leaves you in a position where everybody you know, everybody you trust, everybody you've ever known or trusted, is somebody who's inside that organization.

The threat of being thrown out of that and shunned from them is one powerful enough that kept me quiet for a long, long time.

CHUNG: All right, we'll get back to you, Heidi, in a minute. Amber, you claim that you were molested by the same man when you were 12 years old. What happened to you?

AMBER LONG, ALLEGEDLY ABUSED BY JEHOVAH'S WITNESS: Correct. I was at his parent's home. I was friends with his younger sister. And I was molested there. After that visit I went home and told my parents immediately, and we also went to the elders, as is directed in that religion.

CHUNG: And what happened?

LONG: They, you know, insinuated that it was a misunderstanding, that maybe I was upset, told us to come back and talk about it later. When I still stuck to my story, they told us there was really nothing they could do, because there wasn't two eyewitnesses. And again there was that veiled threat of being excommunicated.

And all my life, growing up after that, they, you know, made insinuations to the fact that perhaps it was something that I had done that warranted the abuse.

CHUNG: All right. Amber, we'll get back to you in a minute.

Bill, you've gone so far as saying that you believe that the Jehovah's Witnesses is a pedophile paradise. You know, are you exaggerating? I know you've investigated, but I think one would believe that you might be exaggerating here.

WILLIAM BOWEN, DIRECTOR, SILENTLAMBS.ORG: I've spoken to over 5,000 victims of abuse either through e-mail or direct phone contact. I have an abuse hotline that rings into my home, and I get calls every day. All these people are abuse survivors that tell the same story as Amber and Heidi do. That is, that they went to the elders and they were suppressed, they were covered up.

It's a common thread. Yesterday I got a thread or an e-mail from a young girl, 15 years of age, she went to the elders, she said I am just like Heidi. And after seeing the recent media, I am angry that they would do this to me. And that's what most of these young ladies are. They're angry that they were abused and revictimized by the policies of this church.

CHUNG: Were you intimidated by the Jehovah's Witnesses?

MEYER: Absolutely. There is no option but to be intimidated. Your entire life revolves around your involvement in that organization. That is your entire life. And it's often referred to as such, in the organization. If you are ousted from that organization, it is a trauma in your life. There is an enormous upheaval. It is something that affects every single day of your life.

CHUNG: This is a statement from the Jehovah's Witnesses, and I'd like all of you to listen to it.

"We abhor the sexual abuse of children and will not protect any perpetrator from the consequences of this gross and perverse sin. We expect the elders to investigate every allegation of child abuse. Unrepentant wrongdoers are expelled from the congregation. Special care is taken to ensure the victims are given ongoing assistance and counsel that help them deal with the pain of the abuse. They should never be told by elders not to report their allegations to the authorities.

Amber, I can see you shaking your head.

LONG: I just -- that's just horrifying that they would write something like that. It's so untrue.

MEYER: You know, and it's a good practice on paper. But it's just not -- it's just not applied. In my situation, in Amber's situation, in countless numbers of situations across the nation, and into other countries, it's just not applied.

CHUNG: But why would they put out a statement like this which you claim is not correct?

BOWEN: That statement is a bald-faced lie, in my opinion. These people know the abuse has been covered up. Ten years ago, research was done in the organization that they knew multiple little girls were being molested. They were inundated with mail -- of "Awake" magazine that was written on this subject.

They refused to acknowledge it then, and the fact that it's went on this long, if they make any acceptance that there's a problem, then they admit they willfully have hurt children and not done anything about it.

Bill, you may very well be disfellowshipped (ph), which is essentially excommunicated from this congregation. And your father even made a video condemning you for your investigation of this sexual abuse problem. Doesn't that hurt?

BOWEN: Yes, it hurts deeply. And I don't hold it against him, because I know that he was intimidated just like these two young women were intimidated by the church to make that video, and have it distributed to the local media in this area...

CHUNG: Well, is it worth it to you to be ostracized by your own family?

BOWEN: You have to do what is ethically and morally right. And because people are pressured by religion to do what's ethically and morally wrong, that doesn't excuse that. And so, I'm compelled to go forward, to let these -- for these victims who have been victimized and revictimized by this church.

Many young women have been disfellowshipped when they tried to tell other members in the church that they were molested, simply because that they wanted -- the molester said that they didn't have two eyewitnesses when he raped these young women.

CHUNG: Heidi and Amber, what has happened to the member who you claim molested you?

MEYER: Absolutely nothing, to this day.

LONG: Nothing.

CHUNG: Is he a member in good standing?

MEYER: He is a member in good standing.

LONG: Yes, he is.

CHUNG: You -- both of you may very well be disfellowshipped. Are you prepared for that? And doesn't that mean that your family wouldn't talk to you anymore?

MEYER: Yes, it does mean that. But, you know, my parents raised me to be an independent thinker, a strong person, and someone who is just. And the evidence is so black and white in this situation, there is no alternative choice. There is no other avenue I could be taking with this.

CHUNG: Heidi, Amber, we so appreciate your being with us. And Bill, thank you as well.

And before we go, we should note that we spoke to the attorney for Derrick Lindelah, the man accused of molesting Heidi and Amber, and his lawyer told us that Lindelah would deny all accusations but that no formal answer has been filed yet in a civil suit brought by the two girls.

Worldwide Class Action Suit against
the Watchtower Society
Recently the blood issue and sexual child abuse have drawn much media attention. An increasing number of victims of these policies hold the Watchtower Society responsible for their suffering. That's why a consortium of attorneys are planning Mass Class Action Suits for victims of sexual abuse and wrongful death (due to adherence to the Jehovah's Witness blood policy).Beware! These people are a Satanic, Demonic, Jim Jones-like cult.

Stay away from Jehovah's Witnesses
These people are involved in Santeria, Voodoo and the like. My grandmother and other witnesses have told me things about not buying secondhand things because the spirit of the other person may be in them. My grandmother had bought a new hat from a second-hand shop. She said when she started wearing it, she experienced headaches. Now this may not seem like anything, only she also said that when she went to the Kingdom Hall that night, she gave the hat to one of the sisters at the congregation. This woman also said that she had headaches after she wore it and gave it back. I have heard all kinds of weird stories such as this growing up from demons materializing, to how demons enter the body. These people are seriously demonic. They even know that there is no such word as Jehovah. No such word exists. WARNING! STAY AWAY FROM JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES. THEY ARE AN EVIL, DEMONIC PEOPLE THAT NEED TO BE DESTROYED.

Stripped of God's blessing (youth)

AUTHOR: Thomas - (U.S.A.)

I disagree with bruce's commentary for the simple reason of a stolen childhood. What I'm about to speak of, only other JW children can empathize. 1st neg experience, my favorite toys the smurf collection had to be (burned) in front of me for the simple fact of a rumor that spread through the Watchtower of a smurf getting up from a chair and walking up to the podium at a religous service.

Logical people? As got older I was not allowed to play sports, play with neibors, because they were not of my religion. I was taught to consider them BAD, short lived or going to die in the near future. I was forbidden to attend any other educational activities that were not written or approved by this godly organization.

My stepmother, a full blown JW abused me mentally and physically repeatedly. Bathed me in her sons dirty bath water the story goes on and on and this woman still is an active member and also a recruiter through door to door work. This is a religion people should look into? A relgion that condones this behavior?

my intent is awareness, not malice

AUTHOR: Mary - (U.S.A.)

In response the the man who was very upset, I did say that they take money, yes but not the way you took it, as a personal attack, the purpose of this wonderful website to inform others not to be victims. my intent is awareness, not malice as I see you, getting very indignent, but they take your money because you buy magazines, books, and conventions, and everything I am saying is true, I quess you are not aware of the internal problems they have because you were not victim, What kind of mother am I typical response, What kind of mother am I a good Italian mother, who loved her family I didnot need the witness to teach me how to love, it is automatic, but look how many, witness children are being abused and molested, Jesus loved children, and women as well, the innocent people are usally targets. When my ex husband heard that the Twin Towers were destroyed he was happy because the new system coming. You know the sky is always falling, he called my son and said (see you in the new system) I was in tears, constantly because, this was herrific. Every article where the destruction is shown, the people are always smiling, Why? I don't take delight, in seeing people suffer. My purpose was awareness you defend your faith I defend my right!

Unfair and narrow minded

AUTHOR: Bruce - (U.S.A.)

I read a report about the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society ripoff and I have to tell you I have a lot of questions about the author of that report.

The report was empty of factual reference to this persons involvement, how she was "taken" of her money, her emotions and as she puts it "not allowed to feel"

She does not describe the abuse by her husband, nor describe any reason why her husband would take her kids from her and hide. Im sure Mary was a model wife and mother right? It is obvious from the comments made by her about the Jehovah's Witness's that she has little clue about what this organization is really about.

A deeper more through investigation of the facts would reveal an organization that is "Pro family unity" and discourages a divorcing. I am hard pressed to believe that unless there are serious problems inside a family that the organization would get involved and unless there is abuse of great magnitude would the Jehovah's Witness's suggest that some one go and hide out with their kids. I find this unfounded and not true.

Mary says they take your money. This is again a bold faced untruth. You can go to thousands of meetings and conventions of the Jehovah's Witness's and not one time will you be asked for money. In fact even all the literature is free! Including Bibles. Mary says your not allowed to feel. The Jehovah's Witness's are one of the most loving groups of people I have ever seen. They have a clean, honest, and integral organization that can serve as a roll model for others to follow.

What it boils down to is this, You will always find someone to put down even the soundest truths and will always find some one to listen. The truth is not for everyone as Jesus Christ said He came to divide not to unite. This meant that because of the love for rightousness and truth, brother will turn against brother etc..

The truth is like this.... you tell 100 people and only 2 people get it, those are the only 2 your talking to.... the rest can go home

At the risk of appearing like rock unmovable in dedication, the Jehovah's Witness's speak out with
undeniable truth proven with factual data and the boldness it takes to follow Jesus's footsteps and Declare his father's name as holy. Read the lords prayer and see for your self as to how it starts out. "Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Do yourself a favor Check out the Jehovah's Witness's for your self and dont take anyone's word. See for yourself the true love and accuracy in doctrine they enjoy.. This organization is without a doubt one that is approved by God.
