Wayne County Friend Of The Court, Wayne County F.O.C. incompetent, stealing money from me every week Detroit, Michigan

The F.O.C. made an error they entered my name as the payer when since 1998 I have been the payee on my son's case. His father has never ever had custody of this child. He is not even involved in my son's life. I provide total care for my son. As a result of their error they sent witholdings to my employers and 63% of my money is taken every week. I have not recieved chikl support from the father since May 08.

I only work part time because i'm a full time grad student. I bring home only 190 a week. I should be bringing home 500/ week, but they take the rest. I had to pay an attorney 800 dollars to try to get this straightened out. They currently have 1,400.00 of my money. These idiots even sent the non custodial father a check for 241.00, and of course he kept the money and is refusing to return it to me.

They did put a hold on sending money to the non custodial dad but they are keeping the money and sending me letters saying that I owe this man 6,500.00 in back child support. How is that possible when he has NEVER had custody of my son? Why do I owe him? The FOC is a very sorry institiution and they are NOT your friend. They are collecting my money and taking their time getting my money back to me and terminating the witholding orders they sent to my employers.

I'm having a very difficult time making ends meet, and my credit is suffering because I can't pay my creditors and buy food for my children. 500 dollars a month is poverty level for a family of 6, this is all the money I get since they take 1,200 a month. Now why did they send money to him when I desperately need my money in order to take care of my son and my other children ages 6-20. The oldest one is in college and will be removed soon because I can't make the payment.

My car payment is 455.00 and I can't pay it. They are blatantly stealing my money. How am I suppose to take care of my kids on 500.00 a month? and no child support. I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing work only part time because I'm a full time grad student, will graduate in June with my Masters in Nursing. I can't even concentrate on writing my papers, because I worry about how I can take care of my kids when the FOC is taking money from us every week when I get a paycheck.

Thru my atty Mr. R.Scott Vanderford they corrected the "clerical error" but didnt correct the documentation regarding my owing this man 6,500 so they are continuing to take my money. When I try to call the FOC for answers i'm on hold for over an hour. But I must say the ladies are very helpful and especially Clara she is excellent. What am I to do? I can't work more than part time while finishing school.

I have some hefty student loans involved here. Others please read this an understand that the FOC is not your friend and will collect your money and hold it for themselves. Case 199852041. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I just want them to send the termination witholding orders to my employers and return my 1, 400 dollars they are holding.
