Wayne Homes LLC Poor and unfinished new home construction Uniontown, Ohio

We hired Wayne Homes to build our home at the beginning of 2011. During the entire process there have been several issues, delays, and poor/incomplete work performed. Our home was guaranteed to be completed November, 2011, however at the date of this complaint, June 2012, our home is still not finished and we have not been compensated for the costly mistakes made by the builder. We have spoken to customer service, field managers, office workers, etc and have been given nothing but excuses and broken promises. We have had to pay several thousand dollars to correct the mistakes that have been done on our home during the building process and have received no compensation
from Wayne Homes and still have an unfinished home. We have dealt with these
issues for over six months and have had enough of the poor treatment we have
received. The building of a new home is supposed to be an enjoyable experience,
however ours has been nothing short of a nightmare.

 

 

At this point we would like the following:

 

$1400.00 for cost of materials to install new balusters and
handrails for the ones that were installed wrong.

 

$500.00 for the cost of the extra fill that we had to pay to
be trucked in to cover up the left side of our home where the brick was not
installed low enough.

 

$1000.00 to cover the cost of a new door and sidelite plus
the cost of installation.

 

$500.00 to hire a painter to paint our outside trim and
lintels on our home.

 

There are other issues concerning our home that we are willing
to accept and feel that this request is more than fair considering the stress
and labor put on us the homeowners.
