Ok, so i went for training for a 'call centre' position for an organization called Wealthworks which i later learnt are the most corrupt, ILLEGAL telemarketing organization i have ever heard of. Wealthworks have a small office (smaller that the size of my bathroom) in the Paramount Centre in Melbourne under the name GSSS.
My Wealthworks training was predominately about how to deceive and manipulate people into accepting
their financial services, which i believe is an illegal scam. The most appauling thing was Wealthwork's "Objection book" which contains common objections people (apparent customers) give and our responses to them.
These responses had to be read out word for word for all wealthworks employees. In this objection book it explicitly stated responses which were plain lies! For example, if the customer were to ask "How do you
get paid" we were instructed to lie and say we were NOT based on commission, however the organization DOES pay its employees based on commission. Also, if a customer were to ask specific information about
the company, according to the "Objection handbook" we were to TERMINATE THE CALL. I am assuming this was to avoid the hefty fine of calling people on the no call register! Furthermore, the contract explicitly
stated that we were to terminate calls of anyone of Indian or Asian decent!! Lastly! the opening line used at the call centre when calling individuals involves EXPLICITLY SAYING " I was just wondering did you happen to catch out good news story on Channel 7's today tonight about 4 weeks ago?". Not only is Wealthworks LYING suggesting that they are affiliated with today tonight but THERE WAS NO SUCH PROGRAM. I found out
that wealthworks is owned by Alistair Kelsalls (parent company kelsall holdings) and has popped up in a few scam watch websites claiming they took assets in exchange for loans but never gave the people their
this is the very dodgy looking Wealthworks website
