In December 2007, I noticed a charge in my checking account from WLI - Reservation Rewards. I thought it might be some type of service fee or something my husband may have signed up for. Finally, three months later, I decided to ask him about it because it was really bugging me. He told me he did not sign up for anything so I did some research. Well, guess what I found...somehow this company figured out a way into my checking account and they started charging me for something I never signed up for! I have purchased movie tickets from movietickets.com, but I am not the kind of person that clicks on pop-up ads. The only thing I have clicked on was through a website called campusfood.com and it was only to receive $10 off your next purchase. However, after further reading the information, I clicked the no thanks button (usually things like that are just too good to be true without some type of fee). I did file a fraud report with my bank and they are researching these charges. I also cancelled my debit/credit card so this company can no longer charge me. I was contemplating filing a fraud report with the police department, but after doing my research, what this company is doing is acutally legal! At least my bank is now doing the work in getting my money refunded. I am afraid to call the company directly for fear they may find additional ways to extort money from me.
