I ordered a size 12 bridal gown from the Wedding Emporium. My size 12 dress arrived at the store. I went back to the store several times with different friends to show them my size 12 dress.

One week before my wedding, my mom and I went by the store for one last try on (thank GOD!!!). My bridal gown would not zip up. I freaked! I had actually LOST weight...not gained it. I noticed the tag in my dress was a "10".

I ordered a 12 because I can't fit into a 10...the tag the weeks prior said 12 and now one week before the wedding the tag read "10". My dress was switched for whatever reason. The owner denied the switch but offered no explanation for the tag difference. Please do not use this dishonest company!!!

As a three time victim of bridal dress fraud I no longer believe what retail executives write

AUTHOR: Pete - (U.S.A.)

What happened, Peggy?

Did he back out at the last minute and some bridal gown establishment wouldn't give you a 100% refund on your 'Vera Wang' (hah!) gown? If you blather on in person like you do on the Internet, I don't blame him for saying 'so long.'

'As a three time victim of bridal dress fraud I no longer believe what retail executives write.' Yep--I knew it, he took a hike! Maybe you should just get one bridal gown and keep it around, preferably a Wash 'n Wear.

It's a great store!

AUTHOR: Jessie - (U.S.A.)

Girl from Florida, first off... chill out. Do you not have anything better to do than to rant and rave about something you no nothing about?!

I am a customer of this store and I have had remarkable service. Grace is very friendly, professional and helpful.

Maybe that bride did gain weight, after all...she was large already. Come on, size 12. That's a big girl.

Back off this store and go bark at someone else.

#3 Consumer Suggestion

Get back to Work (Grace) owner of Wedding Emporium

AUTHOR: Pegggy - (U.S.A.)

Grace - Mesa AZ,

Your wrote,

"We have been in business for almost 24 years. We would not have stayed in business that long if we did what we have been accused of."

What were you accused of? Lori was just trying to get a sized 12 vs. size 10 dress that fit her and you were of no help. How hard is that?

My bridal dress retailer (Suky Rosan (Gowns) in Ardmore, PA) also said the same "unhelpful ignorant" statement to me after she defrauded/scammed my family on two Couture Vera Wang dresses. She said it just like you (Grace) above.

Is that a standard answer of bridal dress executives?

It is my opinion that you make little sense, Grace. What does it matter how long you have been in business it is still "Fraud" even if this is your first time. A useless, unhelpful statement like many bridal executives I have spoken to!

Did you read Lori's post? She said she had a size 12 and now she has a size 10. Why Grace? Why do you answer this web site and not Lori who appears stress out like so many brides nationwide?

In your rudeness, Grace, you even forgot to appologize to Lori (via post) for causing her so much distress. That too is typical industry practices for many (not all) bridal dress victims.

Lori has indicated she is clear that she needs a 12. She paid the money (her part of the contract) now get her the right size and stop wasting consumers time by posting how great thy (Grace) are. If you were so great, there would be no need to post a rebuttal.

Where is your courtesy of helping the consumer (Lori) who is stressed out and keeping you in business?

How about if we set up a lie detector test for you, Grace (fashioned educated executive) and the sweet young innocent bride (Lori) who "KNOWS" she was deceived just by the feel and sight of the dress.

Lori also knew the tag was a size 12 vs. size 10 as she received. What is it you don't believe in Lori's statements? Grace do you thind she is a Liar?

A lie detector test would clearly prove who is lying and I am putting my bets on greedy industry executives (Grace?) as my past experience and investigation (2 years) has shown that many bridal dress executives deny the crime committed.

I personally know that sweet innocent brides are not happening on this web site (Ripoffreports.com) by accident. I found this site after being so brutalized by Vera Wang employees and her "approved" retailer (Suky Rosan Gowns).

Sweet brides are not making stories up about the "Defrauding" (trickery) bridal dress executives and industry. It just does not happen.

Why do bridal retailers continue the deception of young brides nationwide each year? Ladies/mothers nationwide are sick of the deception of fraud involving bridal dresses.

Bridal dress executives (like Vera Wang, Kaufman's, etc.) greed is so appalling. Look at Vera Wang and all her wealth.

In return for consumers proving/giving Vera Wang wealth, she gives some customers (bridal parties) cheaply made, poorly constructed dresses that are many sizes too small with a short bodice, layers of material missing with the bow falling to the floor before the first fitting.

You retail educated executives should be put out of business for causing so much devastation to so consumers ordering bridal dresses and planning expensive wedding ceremonies.

These ceremonies become ruined as a direct result of defiant brutalizing bridal dress executives nationwide.

There are bridal dress complaints all over the nation that can be view through various web sites such as Ripoffreports.com. No longer do we (3 time) scammed and defrauded victims want to hear such "no"-sense from corporate executives (Grace) of the bridal dress industry.

Grace you further wrote,

"Since we have limited information to go on we have been unable to identify this person as a Wedding Emporium bride in order to research her file".

Research What, Grace? Lori has a size 10 but the original dress was a size 12 that fit her better. Get it (size 12) and "HURRY"! Don't waste time at this site; help your customers who provide you a living.

Again, Grace your post is not much help, just a bunch of useless words. If you were so great you would not have to tell us.

Grace, a better response for Lori (distressed customer/poster) would be for you to ask Lori to call you immediately as you are disappointed your employees caused her so much distressed.

Tell Lori you will handle the matter immediately or I could help Lori; file a complaint with the State Attorney's Office. It is your choice Grace.

Retailers (like Grace) claim to be helpful but many hundreds of complaint (involving deceptive sales practice) filed by consumers nationwide proves beyond a reasonable doubt that bridal dress executives are brutalizing deceptive corporate (wolves) who "many" times smile while they defraud brides out of their money.

Grace, you ended by writing:

"All I can say is we have never switched a dress on anyone".

Most criminals I have seen go into denial immediately. Why are you (Grace) busy denying no one switched the dress, just help Lori get the dress she paid for in the correct size.

It is "HELL" putting up with industry executives.

I assure you (Grace) no lady/bride (in her right mind) would order a dress in size 10 when she needed a 12.

Maybe you or your staff ordered the dress to small. Maybe the manufacturer was scrimping on materials that week. Maybe a few tags got mixed up? Who knows?

Grace, you contracted to provide Lori with a dress but the dress you have provided is too small. How do you handle those kinds of problems? Write letter of rebuttle, not much help if I must say so myself.

How can you not know Lori, did she buy the dress at your shop or not. She said she did and I truly believe her. If she did purchase the dress from you (Grace) get her a dress (size 12) that fits. O.K.

It is so simple to correct, what are you doing wasting time to rebuttal distress bridal comments. Bridal dress retail executive are so appalling in my opinion.

Grace, it is a shame (but typical of bridal dress executives) that the above is your only response. State a few word on the Internet and you believe it is finish.

Meanwhile, distress consumers hold in much of the frustration for years and years. While bridal retail executives just proceed to the next victim and more profits and holidays paid for by "some" defrauded victims.

Why do bridal dress executives (like Grace) monitor message boards like ripoffreports.com and windsorpeake.com?

The only reason I can think of is because industry (educated) executives know the bridal dress industry is deceptive and executives want to see what customers are saying so that you can quickly rebut their complaints. Is that how it works, Grace.

Maybe you can give me a better explanation. I am not falling for your rebuttal above. As a three time victim of bridal dress fraud I no longer believe what retail executives write.

I await your response in how you plan on handling the distress bride Lori.

Ladies/victims the only way we can stop the repetitive crime of bridal dress fraud nationwide is by sending letters of complaint to your local (state) Attorney General's Office (addresses can be found on the internet through a search engine).

Any bridal posting complaints should also send a carbon copy of your complaint to:

Mr. Phil Gamma
New York City Attorney General's Office
Consumer Fraud and Protection Division
120 Broadway
New York, NY 10271

And please reference case # CFN02A10064

Mr. Gamma has reviewed many (100's) complaints about the deceptive bridal dress industry and if he received more complaints, then his efforts to stop bridal dress retail deception will be more effective.

Lori, keep us updated on Grace's (eloquent/brutal?) response to your complaints. When is your wedding? How long ago did you order? Who was the name of the sales rep. that helped you "out of" your size 12 and negligently (if true) provided a size 10? Who was the manufacturer?

I await your early response.
