The next day I discovered a charge had been made to my card in the amount of $1.83. I called the number for Customer Service, 800-591-6383, and after some time on hold I did get through to a representative. I told the representative to cancel any information related to me and to remove the $1.83 charge from my account, because I had not agreed to anything with their business. The representative said he would do as I asked.
The next day, I checked my account and found that not only had the $1.83 not been removed, but another charge of $1.83 had been added. I am now afraid that the monthly charge of $29.95 may be added to my account.
I suppose my next step will be to cancel this card and get a new one. I have certainly learned a lesson! Can anything be done to stop these scammers?
