I saw an ad in a publication for sexy white teeth product. You could get a 50.00 rebate so I decided to try it, it would be pretty much free with the rebate. There were many hoops and procedures to jump through in order to get the rebate. The company from the start did not send e mails like they said they would. I had to call them for the rebate info to be emailed to me and I had to call them to send me my other information. My rebate info was received on March 16, 2009 (I sent it certified). On 3/09/09 1.83 was deducted from my checking account. No information was sent to tell me this would be happening. On 4/24/09 Anwar (customer service supervisor) refunded the 1.83. Anwar told me my 50.00 rebate was cancelled because I received a 29.95 refund for a regular monthly charge. He said their policy was that if you got any other refund it automatically canceled the 50.00 rebate. When I received my welcome letter it said you had to cancel that service if you did not want to be in wellness watchers or they would charge you 29.95 to have their service.. thinking I had already done this when I had to cancel the ionline order, I ignored this step only to see that 29.95 had been deducted from my account on 3/26/09. When I realized I had yet another charge taken out by this company I called to get a refund for that and to stop that from happening in the future. I had to fill out more forms to get that refund. When I spoke with Lucy and Kenda that day no one said it would cancel the rebate of 50.00
From the start this company has made it difficult to deal with, having to go to different websites to cancel things and call them. They have not been forthcoming with the e mails. I have no paperwork that shows I have to lose the rebate because I receieved a refund for the monthly charge.
On 3/12/09 talked with Rick and Kim x-518 about 50.00 rebate
On 3/13/09 talked with Jenna to receive my 50.00 rebate e mail
On 4/08/09 talked with Lucy Xt-545 to cancel order 736119 and receive and e mail for the 29.95 charge.
On 4/08/09 talked with Kenda xt-409 because Lucy did not send refund e mail and I had to ask for it twice.
On 4/13/09 forget who I talked with, they sent e mail to get a refund for the 1.83 charge
On 4/24/09 talked with Jennifer xt-1031 who said I would not be receiving my refund because I was disqualified.
On 4/24/09 talked with Anwar who repeated what Jennifer said, I was disqualified for the refund and Anwar gave me the 1.83 back onto my account.
Everything had to be done by a specific time which I had adhered to. To date I have no information that says I am disqualified for the 50.00 rebate.

Without being a member I can't get at their terms and conditions. I do know that often when you are dealing with a rebate you have to continue service to keep the rebate. Example: If you get cable internet and they sell you a cable modem with a rebate to make it free, then you cancel the internet service they will cancel the rebate on the modem.
This is probably what occured, and is probably not a rip off.
