After I reported Ms. Pardini to her boss for failing to transfer funds to my 2011 IRA account, she lashed out at me over the phone. She called me names and used profanity for seven, uninterrupted minutes. I reported her behavior to WFA's client services department. They have done absolutely nothing.
WFA refuses to transfer my accounts to another broker. Their excuse is that they now need my soon-to-be-ex-husband's approval to switch brokers. This despite the fact that they arbitrarily assigned us to Ms. Pardini in the first place. (Since we are in the process of divorce my future ex will not approve anything I ask for, by the way.) I am unable to close the accounts at WFA and move them to another institution because, once again, WFA requires the approval of my future ex.
WFA is holding my accounts hostage. One full year after my divorce papers were filed in Superior Court, WFA under Ms. Pardini's direction and without warning cut off my debit card, my checking account access and my savings account access. Legal advisors I have consulted tell me there is no remedy to this situation until I am legally divorced and reach a property settlement that is signed off by a court judge.
Spare change, anyone?
