Wells Fargo Bank N.A Credited $19011 to the wrong account. Now they wont refund the money. San Francisco, California

- On Dec 5th I sold about 2000 shares held through the company scheme. This amounted to $19011.24
- On Dec 10th these were settled and a wire for the proceeds were sent from Computer Share UK (Citibank GB).
- This wire was routed through Wells Fargo as intermediary bank and should have been forwarded to my account with Iberia Bank.
- Wells Fargo directed the funds into one of their own customer accounts by mistake.
- That customer spent $9261.24
- After much chasing around the facts were discovered and Wells Fargo returned $9750.00
- To date Wells Fargo have refused to return the balance of $9261.24. They blame Citi Bank and Citi Bank blame Wells Fargo.
- This has now been going on for over 60 days.
