From what I can see all over the internet, this is either a scam run by West Bay Acquisitions, or Hollywood Video doctored their books before going out of business to make their accounts receivable appear higher than they were (in which case, West Bay was scammed into buying the proceeds of the supposed outstanding debt). Whatever... in any case, I do not owe this money.
I'll be filing reports with the FTC, the BBB, and the Rhode Island and Oregon Attorney Generals.
