I fully understand what has happened to you at Western Dental Services in Cathedral City, CA. At this point, they have thrown their hands in the air saying that there's nothing that they can do for me because "corporate" will not allow Dr. Shakir to do what needs to be done until I pay money they say I owe them. Funny thing is, they don't know what I owe them (I have five dif ferent figures, all on their paper, reports they gave to me, showing charges ranging from $3,000 to over $9,000 - for the same work. And the larges part has never even been done. I have been without an upper or lower partial for over two years now because they kept getting it wrong. When they filled cavities, they didn't remove all the decay. I was forced to eat my food using the six front teeth I had left. Two more have fallen out of the top front so there are now 4 upper teeth left.

Because of their shoddy work, my entire mouth has to be reconstructed at a cost of over $23,000. Every single tooth in my mouth has become decayed, I can no longer eat solid food, everything has to be taken through a straw because anything I put in my mouth hurts, the list is endless. And they just opened up another office in Palm Springs, CA!

I've sent out Notices of Intent to Sue letters and, by the end of next week, I will have my complaint on fiile. My file, at the Cathedral City office, was about 3 inches thick. When I made an appointment with the 6th office manager in two years to look and make copies of my chart, a legal right that you have, the 3 inch thick file turned into about 1/2" thick, at best. They have purged important documents; however, I have copies already of those damaging reports that Western Dental cooked up.

It is very hard to find a dental malpractice attorney because there's no real excess money that the attorney can make like they can when making a medical malpractice claim. But there are attorneys out there, I found one and we're going after them if they don't respond to my request this week. We plan on exposing them, as well as corporate in Orange County's mishaps, etc. I am not joking. I'm not going to take this lying down. My entire mouth is in such pain and I now have an infection in my entire mouth/gums because of the decayed teeth that were left in my mouth when they supposedly extracted teeth.
